It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Rose Waithera Maina of Ministry of EA and formerly KSG Embu which occurred on 30th September 2022 after a long illness bravely borne.

Beloved wife of John Maina Gacheru (Deputy Principal Gatondo Secondary School Embu). Loving mother to Susan Njeri, Sharon Wanjiru and Mark Gacheru. Mother-in-law to Evans Angaga.

Daughter of the late Mathew Mwangi and Jane Njeri. Daughter-in-law to Susan Wanjiru Gacheru.

Sister to Francis Maine and Joan, Charles Kiruri and Nancy, Boniface Mbugua and Emma, Emma Waimiri and Johnnie, James Njoroge and Sa!ome, Mercy Nyambura, Fredrick Ngugi and Wairimu, Isabella Wanjiru and Kinyua, Augustine Waweru and Wambui, Nazarene Wanjira, Pauline Mbaire, Pielina Wairimu and Charles and Joseph Kamau.

Sister-in-law to Peter Gacheru and Elizabeth, Jane Wangui and Gakuru, Anne Wachira and Esther Nyambura. Grandmother to Ivan Olero Angaga and aunt to many.

The cortege leaves KU referral hospital at 8.00am for burial at her rural home Kimangaru Embu County on 7th October 2022.
