Tabitha Wambura Mutu

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Tabitha Wambura Mutu on 10th November, 2022.

Daughter of the late Erastus Kang’aru Wachira and late Edith Wathira Kang’aru.

Wife of Mutu wa Gethoi. Mother of Karungari Mutu, Wangechi Mutu, Kamweti Mutu and Irungu Mutu.

Sister of Leonard Wachira, Kamonji Kang’aru, William Mahungu, Damaris Ng’ang’a, Job Ndirangu, Timothy Njogu, Susan Kariuki and Samuel Mbuthia.

Grandmother to Neema, Charlie, Adia and Wathira. An aunt, in-law, cousin, friend and mentor to many.

Prayers will be held at her home on Tuesday, 15th November at 4:00 pm.

The memorial service will be held at PCEA St. Andrew’s Church on Thursday, 17th November at 10:00 am.

The funeral service will be held at the family home in Itiati Madura, Nyeri County on Friday, 18th November, 2022 at 11:00 am.
