Catherine Kiza Kasavuli

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Ms. Catherine Kiza Kasavuli, OGW on the 29th of December 2022 after a long battle with Cancer.

Beloved daughter of the late Mzee Ezekiel Kasavuli Agingu and Mama Rachel Inyangala Kasavuli. Ms. Kasavuli is survived by her only child – Martin Kasavuli, Business Development & Network Communications Director Africa – Optiwatch Group Kenya and Optimum Group Partnerships UK Ltd.

Sister to the late George Kasavuli, Loyce Wishaminya, Pastor Abigael Shikanga (Kitale) and Elizabeth Davies (UK). Sister-in-law to Mr Philip Wishaminya, the late Mr. John Shikanga, LBM Davies (Bryn) and Irene Odari.

Aunty to Allan Kasavuli & Jacqueline (Former AFC Leopards Chairman) Harrison & Faith, Diana & Dickson, Derick, Brian & Carolyne, Kerry, Juliet,Winnie, Dennis, Linnet, Pastor Albert, Peter, Rachel,and Patience.

Cousin to Mark, Elie, Jane McDonalds, Elphas, Jane, Beatrice, Elizabeth, the late Ezinah, Violet.

Grandma to Mark, Philip, Mathew, Peter, Rodgers,Andrew, Baraka, Dasha, Dhahabu, Makamu, Nayeli Anyoso, Blessing Miroyo.

There will be a fund raiser on 7th January 2023 at United Kenya Club from 5.00PM to help offset accrued hospital bills.

A Church service will at Friends International Church (FIC) Ngong Road on the 12th January 2023 from 11.00AM.

There will be an overnight vigil on 13th January 2023 at the Zululu Village home in Vihiga. Burial Service will take place on Saturday, 14th January 2023 at Nyang’ori Primary School, followed by interment at her Zululu home.
