It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Zachariah Gikenyi Getanda, which occurred on 15/03/2023 at Kenyatta University Teaching and Research Hospital.
Son of the late Rev. Naftali Getanda and the late Paostina Mong’ina Getanda of Masimba Village Nyaribari Masaba.
Loving husband to Pamela Nyambeki. Father to Dan Moibi, Advo. Winnie Adoli, Gavin Getanda and Phenix Onguso.
Father-in-law to Advo David Adoli and Maurine Arusii. Grandfather to Munira and Reyna. Brother to the late Joel Getanda, Eng. Samuel Getanda, Mwalimu Ezekiel Getanda, Barnabas Getanda (USA), Rebecca Getanda, Advocate Evans Getanda, the ate Caren Orina, Philip Getanda, Catherine Getanda.
Nephew to the late Moibi, the late Milkah, the late Nyabinge, the late Mose and the late Helena, the to Masese, the late Anna and Sibia. Son-in-law to Onguso.

There will be a funds drive to cater for medical and funeral expenses on Tuesday 28/03/2023 at The Professional Centre – Nairobi from 4.30pm and at his home in Masimba.
The Cortege will leave Kenyatta University Memorial Mortuary on Thursday 30/03/2023 and the funeral will take place on Friday 31/03/2023 at his home in Masimba Village Nyaribari Masaba, Kisii County.
