Charles F.A. Ombugu

It is with great sadness and humility that the Kenya National Association of Probation Officers – KNAPO announce the untimely demise of Charles F.A. Ombugu, which occurred at the Rachuonyo Sub County Hospital. Until his death, Charles was a Principal Probation Officer and in charge of Migori Probation Station in Migori County.

Beloved son of the late Alphonce Ombugu and Victoria Ombugu as well as Judith Ombugu of Wang’ichieng Location, Kajiei Sub-location, Kodumo Village within Rachuonyo Sub-county within Homabay County.

Husband to Rose Anyango (Nurse of Rachuonyo Sub-county Hospital). Father to Edmond Francis Oduor Akello and Paul Jude Ochieng Akello.

Brother to Gervase, Elias, Samuel, Phillip, John, Elector and others; Cousin to Vitalis,B ernard, Chrispin. In-law to Edward and others and a friend to many.

The cortege will leave Rachuonyo Sub-county Hospital Mortuary on 03/05/2023 to his home in Sino Kagola, Kakech Village in Kasipui near Nyaingu Primary School. The burial ceremony will be presided over by the Roman Catholic Church – Mawego Parish at his home and thereafter he laid to rest on 04/05/2023 at his Sino home.
