Alice Kabura Joseph

It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Alice Kabura Joseph.

Daughter of the late Mwangi Gichia and the late Lillian Wacuka.

Wife of the late Joseph Irungu Eli. Mother to Grace and Arthur Ngechu, Florence Wachuka, Jane Waiyego and Charity Nancy Wanjiru. Foster mother to Wacuka, Mwangi and Alice.

Daughter-in-law to Eli Mwangi and Joyce Kabura.

Sister to the late Gichia, Arthur Theuri, late Wacu, late Ruthi, the late Ng’ang’a and the late Grace. Step-sister to the late Gichia, the late Margaret, Njeri,the late Ithebu, Lawrence, the late Kamau and Njuguna.

Sister-in-law to Josephine Waiyego Kang’atta, among others.

Cousin to the Gichia’s. Auntie to many.

Grandmother to Nduta, Waithanji, Kinuthia, Njoki, Kabura and Kelvin. Great-grandmother to Inez and Liam.

Meetings are being held daily at Waiyegos Residence at Toll and at her home in Gathinja from 6:00pm.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home, Kabati on Tuesday 23rd May, 2023 at 7:00 am for a Funeral service at ACK St.Andrews – Gathinja at 10:00 am. Thereafter, burial to follow at her residence Gathinja Village, Wangu Ward, Murang’a County.
