Joshua Olando Oyoo

It is with great sorrow that we announce the sudden death of Joshua Olando Oyoo of Derwood Maryland USA that occurred on May 13th 2023 in the US.

Joshua was son of Dr. Edwin Michael Oyoo of Ukaya Village North Gem Location Siaya County and the late Jael Adhiambo Oyoo.

He was brother to Engineer Terry E. Awuor, Philip Oyoo and the late Christabel (Bella) Amondi Oyoo, brother-in-law of Amos Odenyo all of Maryland USA.

Grandson of the late Mzee Oyoo Odongo and the late Mama Christabel Oyoo of Lundha Sub-Location North Gem Location Siaya County and the late Mzee Meshack Olando and the late Mama Teresa Odembo of Osieko West Yimbo Location Siaya County.

Nephew to George F. Oyoo, Elizabeth Akinyi, Eunice Opondo, Christine Were and the late Joyce Owago Omenya, the late Gladys Akidi, the late Nelly Odhiambo, the late Hosea Otieno Olando, the late Anna Obare, Phoebe, Emily Opondo, Rhoda Onyonyo, Christopher Olando, Engineer Gordon Olando, Jayne Olando (USAID).

Cousin of Jerry Otieno Oyoo (Bamburi Mombasa), James Oduor Oyoo (Strathmore University), Kennedy Oyoo, Grace Anyango, Mrs.Adah Olando Kambo, Junior, Abby, the late George Olando,Achieng Osii, Martin Ochieng Sande and many others. The body left McGuire Funeral Home,Washington D.C. and arrives at Montezuma-Monalisa Funeral Home, Nairobi on Wednesday, May 31, 2023 at 20.50 hours.

A funeral service will be held at Montezuma – Monaliza Funeral Home Chapel on Thursday, June 1st 2023 at 10.00am. The body will then be flown to Kisumu on Friday for burial at his grandfather’s home Lundha sub-Location North Gem Location Siaya County on June 3rd 2023.
