It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Paul Muthua Kamau of Kamwangi Mang’u Gatundu North Kiambu county.

Husband to Rachael Wanjiku Muthua. Brother of late Kaguri Kamau, the late Kagondu Kamau and late Wanjiru Rubia. Father of the late Joseph Ngigi, James Mbugua of Riabai, GK Muthua of Blue Line Drycleaners, Gideon Maina, Bernard Ngugi of USA and Jacinta Wambui of Kariva. Grandfather of former Chania ward MCA Ng’ang’a Muthua, Charles Githinji (USA), John K. Muthua of Hamburger Palace Kahawa, Kevin Mbugua (USA), Hillary Mbugua, Kennedy K. Muthua of Riabai, Rachael Kamau (Kiambu County Gvnt), Catherine Kamau of National Bank South C, Jacinta Baragu of Kiambu County, Lucy Maina of Kanjuku, Kevin Iregi of Nakuru among others.

Friends and family are meeting daily at his home Kamwangi Mang’u at 4:00 PM and at his son GK Muthua’s home riabai from 5:00 PM.

The cortege leaves General Kago Funeral Home Thika on 5th of April at 8:00 am.

Thereafter the burial will take place at his home in Kamwangi Mang’u, Gatundu North, Kiambu County.

Father of Geoffrey, Jason, Kaunda, Hudson, Issa Obaga, Chweya, Machuki, Okao and the late Mochama, the late Carren and the late Christine. Brother of the late Chweya, the late Gekoma, the late Nyamusi and Nyabate. Uncle of Haron Matoya, Ann Ongeri Mogaka Chweya, Josephine Chweya, Hellen, Abea among others. Grandfather to: Fred Obagas, Carren, Christine Neville, Chelsea, Ramsey, Elvine among others. Cousin of the late Obiri Matoya, the late Obaga Matoya, William Obaga, the late Walter Otwori, Peter Mochama, Obiri Obiri among others. Brother-in-law of Benjamin, Bogecho, Rebecca, Mary Angima, David Kangwana, Agnes Chweya among others. Father-in-law of Florence, Mourine, Judith, Lena & Rose among others. Family, relatives and friends are meeting daily at his home opposite Getembe Primary for prayers and funeral arrangements.

Main Fundsdrive will be on 1st /04/2018 at his home and at Mwalimu Hotel-Kisii as from noon.

The Cortege leaves Hema Mortuary on 2nd April 2018.

He will be laid to rest on 03/04/2018 at his home Getembe, Township Sub-Location, Kisii County.

Indeed, good dads must die, but death cannot kill their legacy, ideas, dreams and visions.

It is with great sorrow that we announce the death of Japhet Kithinji Muguna of Mwiriene village, Nkiriri sub-location, Katheri central location of Meru county.

Husband of the late Priscilla Mwari and the late Joyce Gatwiri. Father of Joy Nkatha (Ministry of Agriculture – Maua), Betty Kaburo and Miriti, Ziphora Kinanu and Mworia, Bernard Kiome and the late Janet and Henry Kimathi (Insurance Executive) and Jane. Grandfather and great grandfather of many.

The body leaves Kilifi County Hospital mortuary on 30/03/2018 and burial will be held on Saturday 31st March 2018 at his home in Lutsangani village, Ziani location – Kilifi County.

Father of Edmund Wamae Karanja, Michael Mbuthia Karanja and Dr Richard Njooro Karanja. Father-in-law of Joy Wanjiru Ndirangu, Purity Wambui Gacanja and Olivia Njoki Karanja. Brother of Margaret Wairimu, the late Joseph Mwangi, the late Johnson Maruru, Mary Watare, Purity Njeri, Dr. Eric Gicheru, Major (Rtd) Joseph Njoro, and Nancy Gakenia. Brother in law of Enson Mithamo, Margaret Mwangi, Esther Nyacomba, Samuel Njungi, Jane Gicheru and Susan Tielkes. Our sweetheart Betty Kanini Kigondu went to be with the Lord in glory through sudden death on Tuesday March 27th, 2018 at our home in Woodley, Nairobi.

Wife of Samuel Kigondu (JKUAT & Align Architects). Mother of Charles Kamau Kigondu, Jojo Antony Kigondu and Bubbles Kylie Njoki Kigondu. She was until retirement in June 2017 an employee of Standard Chartered Bank. Daughter of Antony Muia Wambua & Jane Mbeke Wambua of Mitaboni, Mathunya Village. Sister of Henry Mutua, George Ngati, Mary Mueni Nthiwa (Standard Chartered Bank), Daniel Wambua (Alarm Masters) and Andrew Muisyo. Daughter-in-law of the late Charles Kamau Kigondu & the late Martha Njoki Kamau. Sister-in-law of Judy Mathenge, late Goerge Mathenge, the late Joseph Njoroge & Janet Wanjiku, Robert Mwangi & Wayua, Kennedy Wanjao & Jane Njeri, Nancy Kaula & the late Clement Kaula, Michael Nagruiya & Brenda Chebet, Mercy Wango & Nurudin Agbaje, Alex Kigondu & Naomi Subi and Lucy Kigondu Chihi & John Chihi.
