It is with great sorrow that we announce the demise of Gabriel Wambugu Githendu.

He was the son of the late Githendu Muthua and late Mariamu Nyaguthii Githendu. Beloved husband of Esther Nyawira Githendu. Loving father to Caroline and George Njoroge, Daniel, Lucy and Patrick Kiai, Hellen, Joshua and Rahab. Grandfather to Phillip, Gabriel and Francis Njoroge; Maria, Christopher and Ian Kiai, and Liora Nyawira. Brother of Mrs Helen Maranga, the late Joseph Wang’ombe, the late Raphael Karimi, John Munene, Peter Wamiti, Elizabeth Mukami, the late Eustace Ndegwa, the late Mrs. Grace Gichuhi, the late Mrs. Hannah Wanjiru, the late Mrs. Mary Mukami, the late Steven Ncleritu Githendu, Francis Wahome, Prof. Ruth Gathigia and the late Festus Wanjohi.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Kangawa, Ngong, for prayers and funeral arrangements from 4.00 p.m.

There will be a requiem Mass on Monday, 3rd December 2018 at Mary, Mother of God, Em Bul Bul at 5.00pm.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home on Tuesday, 4th December 2018 at 8.30am. for the funeral Mass at Mary, Mother of God Catholic Church, Em Bul Bul at 10.30am followed by burial at the family home in Kangawa, Ngong.

Wife of the late David Waitugi Chege. Sister-in-law of the late Beth Kuria, late Lillian Chege, the late Philomena Kararaja, Hannah Nambale and the late John Ngige. Mother of Damaris and Paul Irungu, Anne and James Muhoro, Joseph and Dinah Chege, Peter and Gorreti Gachihi, James Njenga and Stephen and Zipporah Gathuba. Friends and relatives are meeting for funeral arrangements at St. James ACK (Church Hall) Buruburu II from 6:00pm daily.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home at 8:30am on the 4th December 2018. Funeral service will be held at P.C.E.A. Buruburu I Church from 11 :30am thereafter burial at Kibiko (behind Hill Side Homes) Ngong Kajiado County.

P.E.U) Peter Kiogora Mwichiria (Grain Bulk Mombasa) Franklin Gitonga Mwirichia (Tosh) and Julius Muthuri Mwirichia. Father-in-law of James Kibiti Marete, Erastus Kimathi Geoffrey, Fridah Kagwiria Mworia, Terry Nkirote Kiogora, Florence Nkirote Gitonga and Fridah Kageni Muthuri. Brother of the the late Japhet Mugambi, the late Jediel Marete, the late Manene Murungi, Harriet Wanja, the late Alice Igoki and the late Gilbert Meme. The cortege leaves Coptic Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 29th, November 2018 at 9:00 am for church, at Mwiyenga Church of God, followed by Society Service on Friday 30th, 2018 at 10:00 am. The burial service will be held at Mulwanda primary school from 10:00 am and thereafter burial at his home in Mulwanda Ebukanga, Khwisero sub county of Kakamega County.

We the family of Phoebe Mueni Ithau wish to express our sincere and heartfelt appreciation for all the overwhelming emotional and material support we received through messages and visits both in Nairobi and Mbooni, during our time of bereavement.

We especially thank the medical teams – Dr Warshow and Associates, Dr Chauhan and Dr Ali,The AVA nursing team led by their directors Faith and Esther and the dedicated nurses Lucy, Edith and Christine and Susu’s home carers Ndanu, Irene and Jennifer.

It’s with deep sorrow to announce the death of Samson Maina Wanyoike.

Son of Elijah Wanyoike, and Pastor Mary Nyawera Wanyoike, of I.V.C Church Eldoret. Brother of Joyce Wangeshi Ojiambo of Alupe Hospital Busia, Brother of David Mwangi Wanyoike (Maseno University) and Collins K Wanyoike (Green Park Academy). Brother-in-love of Dr. Wilberforce Lusamba Ojiambo (Cuba). Uncle of Valentine, Sabina, Emmanuel and Mary. He was fiancee to Margaret Njambi.

The cortege will leave MTRH Mortuary on Saturday 1st December 2018.

The burial will be at Kiplombe Cemetery on the same day.

It is with humble surrender to God’s will that we announce the demise of Mama Phillister Ndete Ndinya.

Wife of Mzee Mathews Ndinya Mbinji of Shisango Village, Kisa North. Co-wife of Ruth Ndinya. Loving mother of Caleb Mbinii, Jeniffer Were, Christine Anyasi (judiciary), Flora Muyeshi (KPLC), John Andabwa (Judiary), the late Peter, Elphas Amunga and Harriet Anyona. Step-mother of the late Leah, Anne Boggi, Owade, Francis, Richard and Irene. She was a good mother and great grandmother to many.

There will be a fundraising on 3/12/2018 at Electricity House, Nairobi from 5.30pm.

The cortege will leave St. Mary’s Mumias Mortuary on 6/12/2018 for church service from 11.00am at Eshiunya ACK Church.

Burial service will be held on 8/12/2018 at her rural home in Eshisango Village from 9.00am.

1st Anniversary/Appreciation

We, the family of the late Patrick Ombayo Were, wish to appreciate and thank all those who helped and stood with us in our son’s send of.

It has been a year since he unexpectedly left us but we leave everything to the Almighty God.

Memorial service and thanksgiving will be held at the grave site on Thursday, 6th December 2018, commencing from 10.00am.
