It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Mr Duncan Kathurima Francis Mwamba which occurred on Friday, 24th May 2019 at The Outspan Hospital-Nyeri after along illness. Until his death, the late Francis was a Judiciary staff at Wang’uru Law Court-Mwea.

Son of the late Francis Mwamba M’Rimberia  and the late Eunice Karuirwa Ngaruthi. Husband of Salome Wangari Kathurima and father of Jacinta Njeri, Patrick Chomba and Washington Kinoti. Brother of Solomon Gituma, late Peter Muriira, Geofrey Muthuiya, Kanyiri Mwamba, late Kenneth Gitonga and Samson Mwenda. Brother in law of Gichobi Gitari, Muriithi Gitari, Wanjiku Gitari, Kariuki Gitari, Wanjiru Gitari and the late Mwaniki Gitari. Son in-law of Francis Gitari Njogu and the late Virginia Muthoni Njogu.

Family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at his rural home Kianjuri Village, Ntakira location Meru at his family home at Kasarani village, Mwea Kirinyaga County from 5.00 Pm.

Winnie Wakilo Ngomenyi

Daughter of the late Alexander Ngomenyi and the late Mama Matred Ngomenyi of Moka Mbale Location. Daughter-in-law of Mzee Daniel Kanyolo and Mama Racheal Kasyoki of Itoloni, Kitui County. Wife of the late Charles Kanyolo. Loving mother of Racheal, Daniel, Alex and Kilelu. Beloved sister of Kileiu, Hanah, the late Mwaeleh, the late Haji, the late Mbale, twin sister of Javan, Margret, the late Constance, Clara, Loice and Gidnorah. Sister-in-law of Alex, Esther, Ruth, Mbiti, Mbata, Muthama, Nzuna, the late Herman, the late Kilonzi and the late Elizabeth.

The cortege will leave Jocham Hospital Mortuary on Friday 31st May, 2019 at 12:30pm for a funeral service at St. Lukes ACK Makupa – Mombasa and thereafter leave for upcountry home Itoloni, Migwani in Kitui County.

Burial will be on Saturday, 01st June, 2019.

Loving mother of John Linturiri, Humphrey Kaburia, James Kathiong’e, the Late Charity Kanario and Joyce Ngoki. Mother-in-law of Florence Linturiri, Late Stella Kaburia and Susan Kathiong’e. Co-wife of Judith Murocia (Bamung’o).

It is with profound sorrow that we announce the passing on of our beloved brother Pidelis Njenga Pere that occurred on Sunday 26th May 2019 at Kenyatta National Hospital.

Our beloved, was the son of the late Richard Pere Njenga and the late Lucy Wanjiru Simaloi Pere. Brother of Caroline N. Pere and Derrick G. Pere.

Prayers and funeral meetings are being held at their home in Kajiado (Maziwa) from 6p.m.

There will be a fundraising at their residence in Kajiado town on Sunday 2nd May 2019 at 2pm.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday 4th June 2019, thereafter the funeral service and burial will take place in their farm in Kajiado town near Umma University.

Grandson of the late Francis Muya and Elizabeth Wambui, the late Peter Kahugi and late Isabella Wanjiru Kahugi. Nephew of Daniel Muya (Tuskys Supermarket) Simon, Patrick, Jacinta, Charles Ngarachu, Muheria among others.

Family and Friends are meeting at his parents’ home Githabai Village South Kinangop and Nairobi.

Mzee Martin Owino Malowah

We regret to announce the sudden death of Mzee Martin Owino Malowah which occurred on 18th May 2019 at Ombo Mission Hospital, Migori.

Son of the Late Gregory Malowah and the Late Catherine Malowah of Alego Uradi, South Nyanza. He was married to Mama Josephine Owino, The Late Josephine Okombo and Pilister Owino. He was father to The Late Marshal Onyango, Late Esther Osura, Engineer Patrice Odhiambo, Mr Charles Malowah, Dr John Wasonga, Mary Obewa, Milicent Aoko, Simon Odhiambo among others. Father in Law to William Osura, the Late Fred Obewa, Margaret Ayieko, Dr Elizabeth Owiti, Milicent Ochieng among others. Loving brother-in-law to the late Mzee Stanslaus Ayieko of Pe Hill Village, Ambassador Leo Odero of Pe Hill, Mzee Wayumbu Osura, Mzee Julius Aketch of N’gonga Village among others. Loving husband of the late Grace VVaithira. Adored son of the late Kamwiri Guchura and Esther Wangui. An only bother of an only sister the late Leah Nyambura. Devoted father of Julius Maina, Samuel Macharia, Agnes Wangui, Susan Wanjiku, Leah Nyambura, Howard lrungu, Pastor Flora and the late Christom Mwangi and Patrick Kiriga. Father-in-law of Mukua, Susan Muthoni, Dorcas Njoki, and the late Agnes Murugi, Muhia, Evans Mathegi and Dickson Kinyua. An adored grandfather of 24 grandchildren and an admired great-grandfather of 29 great-grandchildren.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at Classic Hotel – Embu and at his home in Gakuyu village to arrange for his interment, from 5.00pm.

The cortege will leave Embu level – 5 Hospital on Wednesday 5th June, 2019 at 8.30am for funeral service at St. Mark’s Church – Kabui, Gakuyu Village, Murang’a at 11.00am and thereafter for burial at his home in Ngiini village.

Mother-of Samson, Monica, Askah, Ratemo, Mary, Anne, Tom and Peter. Sister of the late Omboye, the late Obori, the late Onserio, Mecheo, the late Martha, Jemima and Yunuke. Step sister of the late Oboko, Onsongo and others. Sister in-law of the late Ogutu, the late Biihah, Pauline Kerubo, the late Onkwani, the late Onyambu, the late Ontita and the late Ombati.
