Daughter of the late Cherono Arap Bartire and the late Teriki Bartire. Wife of the late Paul Kiplagat Cherono (Kibaliat). Sister of the late Sogome Kamingat Kabartai, Kogo Jerop and Ayabei. Sister In-law of the late Chepnyangoi, the late Maruu, late Kimoi kapchemase and the late Kimoi Kapmahindio.

Mother of Philomena Chelimo, Lucia Kimitei, Esther Cherutich, Florence Cherono, Joseph Kiplagat, late William Kipkoech, Rev. Fr. Thomas Kigen of Soy Catholic Church Eldoret Catholic Diocese. Mother In-law of the late John Chelimo, Michael Kimitei, late Phillip Cherutich, Leah Kiplagat, Leah Kipkoech. Loving auntie and cousin to many.

The cortege will leave Moi Teaching and Referral Hospital Eldoret on Friday 2nd August 2019 at 10.30AM for Requiem Mass at Mokwo Catholic Church at 2.00PM and overnight vigil at her home Singore Village, Kaptarakwa Sub-Location, Keiyo South Sub-County, Elgeyo Marakwet County.

Burial will be on Saturday 3rd August 2019, starting from 9.00AM.

Son of the late George Ngaywa Jumba and the late Dedan Minage Ngaywa. Husband of Margaret Vosena Adego. Nephew of Herbert Jumba and the late Boaz Kagwa, among others. Brother of Reuben Ngaywa, Hassan Jumba, Stanley Jumba and the late Alice Kangu. Brother-in-law of Florence Martin, Kanaiza Ogole, the late Mary Afandi and the late Joseph Omboko. Cousin of Wilson Endege (USA), Duncan Jumba, Peter Aguvisiza, Pastor Leonard Ishuga, Rodgers Muhambe, and Reuben Keya amongst others. The cortege leaves Jumuia Friends Funeral Home (Kaimosi) on Thursday, 1st August 2019 at 10.00 am for his home in Isitsi Village.

Burial will take place on Saturday, 3rd August 2019 at his home in Isitsi Village, lzava South Location, Sabatia Sub-county, Vihiga County.

It is with humble acceptance that we announce the sudden demise of Jedidiah Wangari Mwangi after a short illness on the 29th of July 2019.

She was the daughter of the late Micheal Chege and Zilpher Waithera of Kinyona, Murang’a. Wife to the late James Muriuki Mwangi. Mother of Ken and Ruth Maina, Anthony Chege, Catherine and Theuri Munyi, Julian and Mercy Ndegwa and the late Anne Waithera.

Sister of the late Hilda Kibura Gathuri, the late Titus Kamau Mika, the late Tabitha Wanjiru Kinyua, Lillian Wambui Njoroge, Rahab Wanja and the late Samson Kagunda. Grandmother of Ian, Joyce, Catherine, Lewis, Njeri, Faith, Linda, Nick, Wangui, Wahome, and Mumbi. Great-grandmother of Natasha, Asher and Luke. Sister-in-law, aunt and friend to many.

Friends and family are meeting at the All Saints from 31st July 2019 at 5-8 pm.

The cortege will leave Montezuma Funeral Home, Nairobi on Tuesday, 6th August 2019 at 9.00 am for a funeral service at CITAM Valley Road starting 1.0.30 am and thereafter burial at Langata Cemetery.

It is with great sadness that we announce the demise of Wilkister Kemunto Nyachieo on 22nd July 2019, at the Agakhan University Hospital after a short illness. She was a former employee of Mathari National Hospital.

Daughter of the late John and Nyaboke Onchwati of Mecheo village, Nyamira County. Loving wife of Eng. John Nyachieo and an amazing mother of Sheilah and Calvin Ochieng, Diana Nyamoita, Benazir Kerubo, Valerie Nyaboke and Vione Nyachieo. Wonderful grandmother of Telo, Morani and Ngima Ochieng. Sister of Arasa, Mary, Manani, the late Florence, Jimford, Elizabeth, Peter, George, Irene, Emily, Omwenga, Truphena and others. Niece of the late Philip, the late Ogato, the late Robina, Ogeto, Veronica, Zachary, Ochoi, Nyarieko, Maria, Teresa and others. The last-born child of Mrs. Jane Orwa Akello and the late Richard Akello Oyucho of Bondo in Siaya County. Step-son of the late Dolphine Adoyo Akello and Phanice Akello. Grandson of the late Mzee Oyucho and the late Pelesia Oyucho, the late Joseph Ooro and Beldina Ooro. A loving brother of Eunice (Pangani Girls), the late Elvis, Nickson, Jackson, Linet, Young, Dottie, Terry (Administration Police Service Nairobi), Beldine, Stacy, Dennis, Arleen, Linda, Gilbert and Lenny. A cousin, nephew and uncle of many.

The cortege leaves Chiromo Mortuary on Thursday, 1st August 2019 at 6.00a.m for Bondo Sub-county. He will finally be laid to rest on Friday 2nd August 019 at his fathers homestead at Koyucho village.

It is with profound grief that we announce the death of Stephen Ndereba Gichuhi former General Manager of Lake Naivasha Resort a member of the Superior Group of Hotels, which occurred on the morning of 25th July 2019 after a short illness at Aga Khan Hospital Nairobi.

Son of the late Jackson Mureithi and Julia Wangechi. Husband to Rachel Wanjiru Njoroge. Brother to Lydia Njoki, Veronica Nyaruai Daniel Gichuhi and Suzan Wanjiru. A loving father to Julia Wangechi Nunes; wife of Franck Locatelli Nunes, Jackson Mureithi Ndereba and Hope Njeri Ndereba (Hoppy).

Family and friends are meeting daily at Hadassah Hotel, Ralph Bunche road opposite Upper Hill Medical Center from 5:30 pm.

The funeral service will be held on the 2nd of August 2019 at 10:00 am at the International Christian Centre, Mombasa road. The final resting place will be at Langata cemetery.
