Loving Mother of the Late Juliah Ayuko, Mrs. Tryphaena Estambale (KSUC), Lydiah Nabakwe (MTRH, Eldoret), Dr. Esther Nabakwe (Moi University), Manyunya Nabakwe (Emuhondo Special School for the Deaf), Caleb Nabakwe (Eldoret).

Mother-in-law of Prof. Estambale (JOO University, Bondo), Emily Manyunya, Violet Ayoti (Eldoret Hospital). Son of the late Geoffrey Njuguna Gachuhi (Gituto) and the late Gladys Nyamuhu Njuguna. Loving husband of Elder Gladys Njeri Gitau, Father of Winnie Nyamuhu & Steve Njoroge (Syokimau), Anne Wamaitha (Dubai) and Elder Anthony Njuguna (St Stephen Ndiko Gatundu). Brother of Muthoni, the late Gachuhi, the late Kang’ethe, Wambui, the late Kabogo, Mwaria, Ndegwa, Muhia & Kimotho. Grandfather of Njeri, Brian & Shiku.

The cortege leaves Mukoe Funeral Home, Githunguri, on Thursday, 2/01/2020 at 8:00am for a funeral service at PCEA Kiambururu Church and thereafter the burial at his home, Ruchachu Farm, Kiambururu Village.

The cortege leaves Umash funeral home Nakuru on Friday 03/01/2020 at 7:00AM for funeral service at his farm in Moi-Ndabi, next to Nduro Farm at 10:00AM and burial ceremony thereafter.

Alice Hottensiah Wahu Githu

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Alice Hottensiah Wahu Githu on the 28th December 2019 while recovering from a previous heart complication at her home in Karen.

Daughter of the late Rufus Ragui Kigera and the late Josephine Gathoni Ragui. She was married to the late James Njoroge Githu and daughter in law of the late Githu Wamukiri and Wariara Nyonyo. Sister in law of Rahab Wambui, Lucy Waithera among others. She was a sister of Sarah VVanjiku, Esther Mumbi Mukiri, the late David Kigera, the late John Muchene, the late Judy Wambui, Salome Muthoni, Mukuria Ragui and Grace Mingina. She was blessed with 5 children the late Josephine Gathoni, the late Ronald Githu and Deborah Githu, Caroline Nyonyo, Stephen Ragui and the late Elizabeth Ngendo, Eric Wambiru and Elizabeth Wambiru. She was a grandmother to 11 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

Viewing of the body will be held on the 1st of January 2020 at Montezuma along Mbagathi road from 8am thereafter proceed to her final resting place at Langata cemetery at 8:30 where the service and burial will be held.

Blessed are those who die in the Lord say’s the spirit for they will rest from their labor for their deeds will follow them.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her residence, Kariobangi South, Civil Servants (House  Number 90).
