It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mrs. Violet Wanjugu Kariuki on 3rd August, 2020 in Virginia, USA.

Daughter of the late Eutychus Kanyuira Munuhe and the late Keziah Nyakeru Kanyuira of lhwagi. Wife to S. Kariuki Kamanjiri. Mother to Nyakinyua Kariuki, Karuga Kariuki and Faith Kariuki. Daughter-in-law to the late Eutychus Kamanjiri and the late Flora Nyakinyua Kamanjiri of Tumutumu. Sister of the late Olivia Wanglombe, Elizabeth Thimba, Rodrick Munuhe, Charles Mathenge, the late Jane Wambui, Patrick Thoithi, Eva Gitau, Onesmus Gathogo, Beatrice Wambui and Purity Manyali. Sister In Law of Lydia Nyakeru, the late James Waweru, the late Julia Muthoni, Esther Muringe, the late Jedidah Wandia, Mercy Wanjiku, the late Charles Njora, Jayne Kamanjiri and Robert Mwangi. She was an Auntie, Cousin, Grandmother and a friend to many.

The body is lying at Kenyatta University Funeral Home. The cortege leaves the Home on Wednesday 2nd September, 2020 at 8:00am. The Funeral Service and Burial will be held thereafter at her home in lkonju, Tumutumu, Nyeri County at 10:00am.

It is with profound sorrow and acceptance of God’s will we announce the passing to glory of Samuel Njoroge Muchiri on the 27th of August 2020 at The Nairobi Hospital after a long illness.

Son to the late Njoroge Wachege and the late Monica Wanjiru. Brother to the late Mwangi, Gladys Wangari, the late Ruth Nyambura and John Gitonga. Loving husband of Alice Ruth Muchiri, devoted Father to Catherine Chunda, the late Caroline Muchiri, Maureen Maina, Patrick Muchiri and Njambi Muchiri. Father-in-law to Granger Chunda and Kenneth Maina. Brother-in-law to Edward Gathura, Jane Karanu, Grace Gathura, Doreen Gathura and Alice Gathura. Grandfather to Michelle and Shiverenje Simani, Dr. Lindiwe Chunda, Nicole Njoki, Kondwani Chunda, Stephanie Mithika, Brian Maina and Aaron Maina. Proud Great-Grandfather to Tshazi Simani. Uncle and cousin to many.

The body is lying at Lee Funeral Home and a Church Service will be held at ACK St. Barnabas, Otiende at 10.00am on Thursday 3rd September 2020 and thereafter the Family will proceed to Langata Cemetry to lay him to rest.

Son of Samuel Mbigi and Grace Wambui Mbigi. Brother of the late Jane Wairimu, John Waithaka, the late Hannah Njeri, Edith Mbigi (IUCN), Mary Njoki, Martin Waithaka, Patrick Kiarie, Simon Kimani, Lydia Wanjiku Mbigi Malombe (Kansas, USA), Gabriel Rugami and Kennedy Mwaniki.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at his place and at his parents’ Home at Kangemi Shopping Centre, Next to Family Bank.

The cortege will leave Umash Funeral Home on Wednesday 2nd September 2020 at 09:30am for a funeral service and burial at Langata Cemetery to begin at 11.00am.

Cortege leaves Coptic Hospital Mortuary on Wednesday, 2nd September 2020 at 8.00am for funeral service at Yakarengo ACK Church and thereafter burial at his home Gathiruini Village, Mathioya, Murang’a County.

At the time of his death, Daniel was working with Geothermal Development Company Nakuru.

Geoffrey Saina (Kisirian police), Daudi Saina (Kericho), Madam Lily Maritim, Emma Chepkurui Forrester Finlay Kericho, Erick Saina (Safaricom), Joyce Nyasinga (Kisii), Cosmas Saina (Manager Safaricom), Martha Kirui Lelach, Charles Saina Tindiret, Roseline Cherop and Rosa Chepkoech. The cortege leaves Siloam Lazarus Funeral Home on Tuesday 1st September 2020 at 9.00am for an overnight stay at home and burial will take place on Wednesday 2nd September 2020 from 10.00am.
