Son in law of the late John Mwangi and Alice Wachinga, father in law of Samuel Andayi, Peter Ngigi and Moses Gitonga and grandfather of many.

A treasured grandfather of Jason Njoroge, Ephantus, Wendy, Javierra and Sharieen. Brother of the late Francis Kimani, Martin Wangunyu, late Gabriel Nclicu, Isaac Muriuki, Daniel Muiruri, Moses Kamau, Hon. Pius Mwaura, Eliud Mathu and Teresiah Wangari. The cortege will leave Kenyatta National Hospital Funeral Home, on 2nd December, 2020. A requiem mass will be conducted at St. Michael the Arch Angel Catholic Church, Githaruru, Gatundu at 11.00am followed by burial at his residence.
