Daughter of the late Jacob Orwa and the late Agnes Atieno Ngong of Siage Village.

There will be a fundraiser to offset the medical bill and funeral expenses on Tuesday 3rd August 2021 at Whirlspring Hotel, Kisumu from 3PM.

Burial will be held at her rural home on 7th August 2021 at Wagoma Village, Nyaguda, South Sakwa, Bondo, Siaya County.

 1928-2021

It is with humble acceptance of Gods’ will that we announce the promotion to glory of George Mbugua Nganga which occurred peacefully at his home in the early morning hours of 27/07/2021.

He was the son of the late Leonard Nganga Kabitu and the late Patricia Nyambura Nganga. Beloved husband of Mary Wanjiku Mbugua. Brother to the late Teresia Njambi Kamau, Mrs Pauline Wangui Kamau, late Rose Wangari Njiinu, late Fredrick Gachie, Professor John Kinyuru, Joseph Kangethe, Benedict Njagwis late Edward Mwaura, Gorreti Wanjiru Njenga and Rosa Nduta Waruhiu.

Brother in-law to late Mwalimu Peter Kamau, late Joseph Kamau, Bernard Njiinu, late Phyllis Wanjiru Gachie, Nancy Wangui Gachie, Leah Wanjiku, Winnie Ngendo, Grace Wanjiru, Agnes Ngendo, late Eliud Njenga and Hiram Waruhiu.

Family and friends are meeting for prayers and funeral arrangement at his home Nyagoti Village Ikinu, Githunguri, Kiambu County at 2 pm.

The Cortege leaves K.U. funeral home on Wednesday 4th August 2021 at 8 am for a celebration of his life in Holy Mass at Holy Rosary Catholic Church Ikinu at 10 am followed by interment at his home, Nyagoti Village.

It is with humble acceptance of Gods will that we announce passing on of Julius Kimata Karagu formerly a teacher at Gachege Secondary School. He was the son of the Late Patrick Karagu Kimata FelistusWaniiru Karagu.

Loving husband to Caroline Wanjiku Kimata, Principal Kiabarikiri Secondary School and Father to Lenis Matiruka Kimata and Edwin Mwangi Kimata. He was brother to Catherine Merl Kimani, the late Titus Ndirangu Karagu, Rose Njambi Nguuri. Pauline Wangui Njau and Cecilia Wairimu Karagu. Family and Friends are meeting daily at his Makohokoho home, Njahi Sub-location, Gatundu from 100 pm for prayers.

The cortege leaves the Kenyatta University Funeral Home on Monday 02/08/2021 at 8:00am, followed by a funeral mass at St. Paul  Makohokoho Catholic Church from 12:00 noon. He will be interred at his Makohokoho home thereafter.

George Nelson Ndungu

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the demise of George Nelson Ndungu from Kambaa village, Kiambu County (formerly an employee of Kenya Railways-Nairobi) which occurred on 26th July 2021.

He was the son of the late Ernest Kariuki and the late Hannah Wangari. He was brother to Patrick Gitu, Linus Watitu, David Kamau & the late Zakayo Kirogoi. Loving husband to Mary Njoki, father to Cyrus Kariuki (KAA Nairobi), Judy Wangari (KWFT Mwea), John Kariuki(Pioneer Freight Forwarder), the late Naomi Muthoni and Patriick Gitu (Pioneer).

Son-in-law to Naomi Muthoni and the late John Kariuki. Dad in law to Tabby Kericho and Jane Thuo. Grandfather to Keith, Alvin, Lennox, Shirleen, Keilah, Maureen and Stephen.

The cortege leaves Upland Funeral Home on 3rd August 2021 for Kambaa-Lari where he will be laid to rest at his farm.

Rev. Fr. Winfried (Charles) Kipkemoi Yego OSB

 Born 27/07/1968 – Died 29/07/2021

Rt. Rev. Abbot John Baptist OSB and the monks of Prince of Peace Benedictine Abbey-Tigoni, regret to announce the sudden demise of their brother, Rev. Fr. Winfried (Charles) Kipkemoi Yego OSB, which occurred at Kiriarini Mission hospital in Muranga.

Son of the late Mzee Raphael Yego and mama Pauline Sokomo. He is a brother to; Clement, Salina, Sylvester, Emmanuel, Johnston, Alice, Edna, Eily, and Lilian.

Fr. Yego joined the Benedictine monks in the year 1999 and took his first monastic vows on 5th, Jan, 2002. He then went to Germany for Priestly studies and was ordained in Kenya on 10th, July, 2010. Fr has worked in Illeret, Parish priest at St. Benedict parish, Ruaraka and as the secretary General of the congregation from the year 20 18-2021. He was currently working in Nanyuki Bible on the Ground as the superior.

The requiem mass will begin at 10am on 3rd, August, 2021 in the abbey church and hereafter the body will be laid to rest at Abbey cemetery in Tigoni, Limuru.

Beloved daughter of Sebastian Muguro Mwangi and Joyce Muthoni Muguro. Loving wife of Patrick Muniu Gathuka.

Doting mother of Leah Warii Muniu and Joy Wandia Muniu. She was a sister to Richard Gitau, John Mwangi, Patrick Ngugi, Mary Wanjiru (late), Julius Kamande, Godfrey Mwangi, Julia Wairimu, George Chege (late) and Gideon Irungu.

Daughter-in-law of Michael Gathuka and Teresia Warii Gathuka. Sister-in-law of Magdaline Wan’ Mburu (late), Elizabeth Wahu Muturi, Ann Njoki, Joseph Kimani, Stephen Mbugua (late), Peter Ngugi, Veronica Njeri and Scholastica Njambi Mbuthia.

She was an auntie and a cousin to Many.

The cortege leaves K.U. Referral Hospital Mortuary on Monday, 2nd August 2021 at 9:00 am. The funeral and burial service will be held thereafter at their farm in Mutonya, Ruiru Sub-County, Kiambu County.

It is with deep sorrow that we regret to announce the death of Amos Onyango Nyundo of A.A.H.A Southern Sudan.

Son of the late Eliakim Nyundo and the late Alice Mwanda. Husband to Esther Onyango of Ministry of Health Kisumu County. Father to Steve Otieno of Jabeez Enterprises Bondo and Jabez Hope of Makini School Kibos. Uncle to Alice, Florence, Vennesa, Absalom, Manasseh and Dave. Son-in-law to Symon Onyango Geng’ and Mary Onyango of Nyakach Koguta.

The body lies at Star Mortuary, Kisumu. Burial will take place on 1st August 2021 at his home in Sakwa Bondo Barchando.

She was a doting mother of Edith Nyambura (CMAS) and Faith Gakii (Mwlki Good Hope Academy). She was daughter-in-law of Mr Stephen Irandu, Mama Ina Kinya Irandu (late) and Angelina Kaimuri Irandu of Kariene, Meru County. She was grandmother of Gabriella Nuna.

Sister of Peterson Macharia (late), Mrs Beatrice Mungai, Gladys Kiminjiri, Jane Nyaguthi, Richard Mwangi, Josephine Wambui (late), Eric Wanjohi and Stefano Kinyua. She was an auntie, a cousin and a friend of Many. The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Funeral Home tomorrow 31st July 2021 at 7:00 am. The funeral and burial service will be held thereafter at her husband’s homestead In Kirirwa Village, Meru County, presided by Deliverance church.

All protocols by the Ministry of Health on Covid-19 will be observed.
