Beloved daughter of the late Petro and Pilista Donge of Kano. Loving wife of Godwin Aseda Okombo. Sister of William Athembo. Beloved mother of Haig Aseda, Macklyne Aseda, Elvira Aseda, Benedete Aseda, Robert Aseda, Beryl Aseda, Stacy Aseda and Glen Aseda.

Beloved cowife of Millicent Aseda and Judith Aseda. Mother-in-law of Michael Ukaegbu, Beryl Amayo and Vaida Odongo.

Grandmother of Brian, Cliff, Tehzeen, Chisom, Michael Jnr, Ruby, Ella, Mich, Gina and Mischa.

Aunt of Dennis, Monica, Kennedy, Charles, Clinton and Samantha.

Burial is set to be on 4th October 2021 at her home in Kotieno Kochich Sub cation, Kayoo- Kanjoga Village near Oyugis Town.

Wife to the late Justus Murerwa of Uruku location, Meru.

Mother of Harriet Gakii, the late Robert Mbaya, Benard Murerwa, the late Nkirote, Fridah Kagwiria and late Mary Kathure.

Mother-in-law to Kinoti, Josephine Mbaya, Hellen Karimi, Gerald Thuranira and Solomon Muriiki.

She was blessed with 18 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.

The cortege leaves Meru Funeral Home on Tuesday the 28th, September 2021 for burial at her home in Nkuriga-Uruku.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of our beloved father, Mzee Simon Pere ole Mepukori at his home on the morning of 21st September 2021.

Loving husband to Margaret Pere. Father to Johnston Pere, Kinyanjui Pere, Henry Pere, Irene Davies and Robert Pere. Father in-law to Eva Pere, Grace Kinyanjui, Esther Pere and Angela Pere. Grandfather to June Naisola, Keith Pere, Abigail Simaloi, lanmark Leshao, Serian Davies, Alex Pere, Sasha Naserian, Jayden Pere and Great Grandfather to Sipilon Mugo.

He was the son to the late Mepukori Pere and the late Grace Mepukori Pere. He was the brother to Joyce Itumo, Moses Mepukori, Godfrey Mepukori, Mwalimu Wilfred Pere, Jecinta Mwaniki, the late Agnes Kariuki, late Jane Lila, Kennedy Pere, David Pere, Danson Pere, Esther Kinyanjui, Gladys Pere and Mercy Pere.

He was son in-law to the late Johannah Mukono and the late Joyce Gathoni. Brother in-law to Rhoda Mbugua, Kezia Karanja,the late Edah Mukono, Zipporah Njoki, the late Rose Wairimu, Peter Koigi and Rahab Kibera. In-law to Mr & Mrs Johnmark Leshao, the late Peter Ngiri and Mrs Anne Ngiri. He was a brother, father, uncle, grandfather and great-grandfather to the larger Ole Pere family.

The cortege leaves Umash Funeral Home on Friday 1st October at 8:30am for funeral service and burial at his home at Ongata Rongai.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home from 4 p.m – 6 pm. Everyone is urged to adhere to all Covid 19 protocols.

Doting grandfather to the late James Otieno Jnr and Faridah, Nyago, Chessy, Andrew, Bryan, Solo, Tim, Esther, Dave, Tracy, Emmanuel, Samuel, Daniel, Precious, Kyla and Kimora; and great grandfather to Kayssie and Eyad. Adored brother, uncle, nephew, cousin and in-law to many.

Loving husband of Agatha Murugi. Son of the late Ezekiel Mungai and the late Josephine Waithira Mungai. Son in law of Vincent Mwenda Njoroge and Esther Wanjiru. Loving father of Claudia Wanjiru, Wayne Mungai, Davis Mwenda and Chesney Njuguna. Brother of Oscar Njuguna (Muranga), Daniel Mungai (Kenya Fisheries Service) and Eunice Wangui (Makuyu).

Brother-in-law of Joyce Wanjiru, Ann Wangechi, Paul Mwangi, Patrick Mwenda, Albert Mwenda, Agnes Mwenda, Henry Mwenda, Mary Mwenda, the late Benardett Mwenda, James Mwenda and Paul Mwenda.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta Memorial Funeral Home, Bypass on Wednesday 29th September 2021 at 7.00am for funeral and burial at his home in Kamira village, Maragua Sub-County, Muranga County.

Michael Mugoh Gatimu

We, the family of the late Michael Mugoh Gatimu wish to express our deep gratitude to friends, former colleagues, the Christian fraternity and all others who stood with us during this difficult time.

Special thanks go to His Excellency Hon, Uhuru Kenyatta, CGH, President of the Republic of Kenya and Commander-in-Chief of the Kenya Defence Forces for condoling with our family, extending words of sympathy, and providing tremendous support during the time of bereavement We are indeed truly grateful.

We also wish to recognize the great effort made by the funeral organizing committee led by Mr. Daniel Njaibu, assisted by Dr. Steve Mugo, Mrs. Leah Muchiri, Eng. Gift Kinuthia and Mr. Mark Mulatya whose efforts were instrumental during preparation for both the memorial and funeral of our beloved Michael.

Our family also thanks the Kileleshwa Community Covenant Church, Rev Joshua Karani and his Church – Faith Reformed Baptist Church – for providing spiritual nourishment as well as conducting both the memorial and funeral services of the late Michael. To the Kileleshwa neighbourhood for standing with us through prayers and their participation during the difficult period, we thank you.

The family also wishes to acknowledge and appreciate the efforts of the medical team led by Dr. Njoki Njiraini who attended to Michael during his illness. We further wish to recognize the support of the larger Gatimu Family, all our friends and well-wishers, through you all we actualized the celebration of Michael’s life. You provided kind and encouraging words, prayers, material and financial support during Michael’s illness and final send-off. We sincerely thank you all and pray for God’s blessings upon you.

Mother to Mr & Mrs. Edward Gondi, Mr. & Mrs. Ken Owino, Leah Awuor Gondi & Kepher Otieno, Noel Khan and Phoebe Omondi. Daughter in law to the late Mzee Edward Gondi and the late Mama Leah Gondi.

Wife of Kaberia Misheck Kimbui. Mother of Geoffery Mui Kinuthia, Late Cynthia Kagendo, Martin Kimathi Kaberia. Sister of Joseph Rimui, Francis Kimani, Nicholas Waweru, Late Stephen Njoroge. Sister-in-law of Peter Kubai, Lydia Kanario, Doris karwirwa, Edward Kobia, Damaris Kinya, Joshua Mwiti, Stephen Bundi. Daughter-in-law of the late Ruth Mwonjiru Kimbui and Late Misheck Naibosha Kimbui.Auntie of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at Blue Hut Hotel-Ngara, for funeral arrangements starting on 27/9/2021, from 5:00 pm to 6:30pm, until 30/9/2021.
