Erica Warurii Gakunju

In Loving Memory

A year has gone by, and it still seems like yesterday, the pain of losing you is surreal. Your beautiful soul was gone in a flash, now the pictures tell the story of your precious life, and there we see our beautiful, wonderful daughter, sister, niece, cousin, granddaughter, friend – a rare gem.

Goodbyes hurt when the story is not finished and the book has been closed forever.

Though short lived, Erica lived a life full of purpose and promise, she was a treasure, a vibrant and joyous person and who impacted the lives of all who knew her.

She lived, loved and left a legacy that still lives on. Truly and terribly missed by Dad Timothy, Mum Wahu, brothers Kimemia and Kiarie, all relatives and friends.

“Truly, truly I say to you, He who hears my word and believes in Him who sent me, has everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation but is passed from death to life.” — John 5:24
