Samuel Gikonyo Kirumi

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the sudden death of Samuel Gikonyo Kirumi of Thika Kisii Estate due to fatal accident at Nairobi-Mombasa Highway at Salama on 26/12/2021. Till his demise, he served as a Driver Mechanic at SACDEP-Kenya.

He was the son of late Isaac Kirumi and late Ruth Waitherero. Husband to Hannah Njen, father to Isaac Kirumi and Dearing Miringiu, father-in-law to Caren Muthoni, brother to late Elizabeth Wanjiru. Robinson irungu, Joseph Maina, (KN UT Treasurer, Nakuru Branch), Michael Kimani, Lucy Merl, late James Kariuki, Fredrick Mwangi, Hannah Muthoni and Francis Makumi, grandpa to Layadam Gikonyo and Dearing Ireri.

Friends and relatives are meeting at their home at Naishi: Njoro Mugumo Village for burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves Egerton Morgue on 31/12/2021 at 9:00 am. Funeral service will be held at their home at Mugumo Village Naishi-Njoro Nakuru county.

Till his demise, he served as Programme Officer in charge of Kajiado region with SACDEP – Kenya.

Son of late Rufus Gicharu Muchembi and Esther Wanjiru Gicharu of Mukurwe, Njai-ini, Gatanga Sub County, Murang’a County. Son-in-law of the late Paul Royston Murimi Gitimu and Lucy Wairimu Murimi of Karatina, Nyeri County. Devoted husband to the late Nancy Wamuyu Murimi. Father of Letitia Wanjiru, Leon Gicharu and Lucy Wairimu.

Brother to Priscilla Wanjiku, the late Milka Nyagathu, Sarah Ngigi, the late David Ngamau, Lucy Ndegwa, Charles Ng’ang’a, Pius Ndichu, James Kamuru, Michael Murima and Joyce Wambui. It is with profound sorrow and acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mrs. Nelly Chepkoech Komen-Yano of Racecourse Eldoret County, that occurred on 24th December 2021 after a long battle with cancer.

Loving wife of Mr. Mike Yano. Daughter of the Late Samson Komen and Grace Komen of Njoro, Nakuru County. Loving mother to Nena, Brian, Michelle and Hope. Sister to Esther, the Late Diana, Robert, the Late Patrick, Andrew, Carole and Emanuel. Granddaughter to the Late Kibowen Komen, the Late Magdaline Komen and Rachel Komen.

She raised three beautiful children, Letizia Wanjiru, Leon Gicharu and Lucy Wairimu.

Loving wife of the late Paul Ongata Ongata and an adoring mother of Wyclife Ongata, Bonny Esther Ongata, Evans Ongata and Margaret Risper Ongata (Yvonne). He was son of the late Joram Njau Kiarie and the late Beth Wangari Njau. He was the Son-in–law to James Bacha Wahome and the late Elizabeth Wanjiru Bacha. JK was husband to Dorothea Nyokabi Kiarie. Father to Elizabeth Wanjiru (Dubai), Joram Njau (Dubai) and Jimmy Fasha (Impax).

Brother to Mary Wanjiru Waweru, Ann Wanjiku Chinjigu, Rachel Njeri Njau, Francis Ng’ang’a, Peter Mwangi, David Ngugi, Daniel Kioma &Titus Kariuki. Brother-in-law to Rosemary Wambui, the late Margaret Wanjiku, David Wahome, Peter Njuguna, Justine Bacha, Patrick Ndung’u, Winfred Wangari, Bernadette Njeri, Scholastica Nduta.
