With humble acceptance of God’s will we announce the peaceful passing on of Rosalie Muthoni Nyaga in the early hours of Friday, 28th January, 2022 at home in Maua after a long battle with illness bravely borne.
Daughter of the late Brigadier Jonah Munyi Kanyue and the late Mary Wakini Munyi. Daughter-in-law of the late Jesse Muruafundi Kanyange and the late Grace Mbiro Jesse. Wife of David Nyaga Jesse. Co-wife of Millicent Ciambaka. Mother of Kenneth Njiru & Jane Muthoni, Emily Karimi, Rita Wakini & Kihara Mwai, Jean Muthoni & Michael Arimbi, Rose Isabella & John lreri, Jonah Munyi & Rose Jemimah, Patrick Muchiri & Rose Wanjiku, Bramwel Njeru & Mercy Gakii (both deceased) and Peter Gitonga & Susan Kawira. Grandmother and great-grandmother to many she loved.
Sister of Deborah Wanyonyi, the late Bramwel Njeru, Beatrice Simani, Ruth Mwakitawa, Sammy Njeru,Wilson Njagi, Grace lta, Heather Muigai, the late Daniel Gacogo, Samson Gatumo and Ernest Gachomba.
Sister-in-law of the late Wanyonyi, the late Mary, Amb. Simani, Mwakitawa, Margaret, the late Mary, the late In, Muigai, the late Justa and Hannah. Sister-in-law of the late Obed & the late Marion, the late Abigael & the late Mbarire, the late Samuel & the late Naomi, the late Agostino & Damaris, Isabella and the late Gerald, the late Esther, Isaac and Lucy, Njoki and Mathew, the late Njeru and Margaret, Becky and Ndesanjo, the late Ndwiga and Jane, Murithi, Lucy and Grace and the late Wanjira and Njue.
Friends and relatives are meeting for prayers and burial preparation at home Kaandu Village from 5.00pm & Tea Room Hotel – Maua, from 7.00pm. Daily meeting are also ongoing in Nairobi, Embu and Runyenjes.
The cortege leaves Maua Methodist Hospital Mortuary on Friday, 4th February, 2022 at 9.30am for funeral service at ACK Immanuel Church, starting at 10.00am, and later interment at her home in Kaandu Village, Maua, Igembe South, Meru County.
