With humble acceptance of God’s good will and much thanksgiving, we are saddened to announce the passing on of Cpt Latimer Waweru Mwaniki, (formerly of Aerosafe Africa Consultants Ltd – Wilson Airport), which occurred on Saturday, 26th March, 2022, after a long, well fought, battle.

Son of the late Obadiah Waweru Mwaniki and Beatrice Wanjiru Mwaniki.

Son-in-law to Eliza Muthoni Nyaga. Loving Husband to Jane Wanjiru Mwaniki, Beloved Father to Nicholas, Muthoni, Betty and Julie. Father-in-law to Nish and Beatrice.

Brother to Margaret, Mary, Miriam, Christine, Perpeshua, Raha, Dorothy, Hellen, Mwaniki,Anthony, Susan, Phoebe, Ezra, John.

He was a light in this World and his Love and Generosity will live on through his Family.

Meetings to plan for the funeral will be at his Home in Milimani estate Kitengela from Tuesday 29th March to 30th March 2022.

A Memorial Service will be held in honour of Capt on Thursday 31st March 2022 at ACK Holy Trinity Parish – Kitengela from 2.30 p.m.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Funeral Home – Kabati – at 7:00am on Friday 1st April 2022 for funeral and burial service at his home in Kangaita, Nanyuki, from 11am.

Diana Mwikali

Sunrise: 4th September, 1992 – Sunset: 20t” March, 2022

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the untimely demise of Diana Mwikali, which occurred on Sunday, 20th March, 2022.

She was a mother toVictor Mumo, a loving daughter to Asumpta Yula Musyimi and an adorable sister to Shillen Mwende and Valeria Mumbua.

Ms. Diana was a granddaughter to Thomas Kitaka and Bridgit Kavinu, a cousin to Emmaculate Mutheu, Vincent Musyimi, and Fredrick Lumumba.

She was a loving niece to Bernard Nzive, Fridah Kavuo, Sabina Mwikali and the late Martin Mutinda. She was an aunt to Aiden Muuo.

Until her demise, Ms. Diana Mwikali worked at the County Assembly of Machakos in the Public Communication Section, where she served with a lot of dedication, self drive and was an all-time motivator.

Friends and relatives are meeting at her home in Muusini village in Makueni County and at Salvation Army in OTC, Nairobi daily starting from 5.00 pm.

The cortege will leave the Nairobi Women’s Hospital on 1st April, 2022 at 6.00 am for funeral service and burial at her home in Muusini Village, Kathonzweni Sub-County, Makueni County.

Like a beautiful flower, Diana’s memories will bloom in our hearts year after year and her memory will remain in our hearts forever.

To God be all honour and glory, dance with the Angels in Heaven Diana.

Ven. Canon Leonard Mbogo Mwaura

1927 — 26th March, 2021

It has been a year since our beloved father, grandfather, great-grandfather, uncle and great servant of God went to be with the Lord.

Affectionately missed and remembered by your Dear wife – Racheal Nyambura Mbogo, children – Samuel and Nancy, Silas and Eunice, Moses and Dorcas, Wilson, David and Anastasia, grandchildren, great-grandchildren.

Though he brings grief he will show compassion, so great is his unfailing love… (Lamentations 3:32-33).

There will be an unveiling-of-the-cross ceremony in his memory on 2nd April, 2022 at A.C.K Emmanuel Church Karuri – off Ruaka Raini Road, from 2:00pm.

Salome Njoki Kinuthia

Salome Kinuthia was called to be with the Lord on the evening of Saturday 26th March, 2022.

During her lifetime she served God, the Church and the community around her diligently.

She was also an exemplary professional who mentored and nurtured people across all walks of life.

Salome was happiest surrounded by her family- her husband, children, grandchildren, friends, and doing the work of the Lord!

She was the daughter of the late Alice Thuiya Karamba and James Karamba Gikonyo and daughter-in-law to the late Mzee Kenneth Kinuthia Kairu and Naomi Warigo Kinuthia.

Beloved wife to the late Kariuki Kinuthia and loving mother of Alice Thuiya Kinuthia, Kenneth and Wairimu-Kireri Kinuthia, Nancy Warigo and Timothy Kihiko and Kris and Angela Sabiri Karamba.

Loving Cucu to Alexander Terence Kariuki, Kariuki Kinuthia, Kihiko Junior Njuguna, Wairimu Njuguna, Njoki Kinuthia, Kariuki Njuguna and Kristofer Kariuki Karamba.

She is an in-law to Wanjira and David Kireri, the late Janet and Dr Francis Kihiko and Sorophina and the late Augustine Ombati.

She was a step sister to Nelson Ndung’u Karamba. She was sister-in-law to Joyce Githua, Salome Wanjiru, Julius Kairu, Grace Wairimu, and Ruth Njeri.

Prayer Meetings are taking place daily at her home in Ridgeways Springs, from 5:00pm.

The memorial service will be held on Thursday, 31st March, 2022 at PCEA Evergreen Church, Runda from 2.30pm.

The cortege will leave Montezuma/Monalisa Funeral Home Mbagathi way on Friday, 1st April, 2022 at 8.00am for PCEA – Naomi Warigo Church, Kamuchege, Githunguri for the burial service from 11am onwards.

She will be laid to rest at the family farm at Kamuchege, Githunguri.

May the Almighty God rest her sweet soul in eternal peace, Amen!

It is with humble acceptance and God’s will that we announce the passing of Dalvin Bigingi Muiruri on Friday the 25th of March, 2022.

Beloved son to Allan Muiruri Thuo and the late Irene Mwango Muiruri.

Brother to Harry Thuo and Keisha Nduta. Grandson to Mary Orori of Seattle, USA and Mr & Mrs Harry Thuo.

Funeral and prayer meetings are being held daily at Madaraka MF45.

The funeral service will be held on 1st of April, 2022 at PCEA Grace Nkukuoni, Ololoitikoshi followed by burial at their farm in Birika.

It is with a heavy heart, deep sorrow, and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the transition of Mama Rebecca Achieng Obado (Japuonj) that occurred on 15th March, 2022 at Siaya Referral Hospital.

She was daughter to the late Michael Okong’o Weere and the late Mama Annah Omuok and stepdaughter to the late Joan Oriambo Weere of North Ugenya, Kagonya.

Adoring wife to the late Fredrick Jason Obado and loving mother to Walter Obado Ookok, Gerald Jonathan Obado (late), Winnie Owira of Boro Ka’Amoth, Sam Obado (late), JJ Okoth Obado of Redhouse Group, Ken Obado Weere (late), David Otieno Obado (late) Grace Aluoch Obado (Spain) and Susan Akoth Obado of Suliquor.

The cortege will leave Siaya Referral Hospital Mortuary on Friday, 1st of April, 2022 at 2pm for a church service at St Andrews Hawinga from 2.30 pm, followed by an overnight vigil at her Ugoma Village residence where the Requiem Mass will be held on Saturday, 2nd of March, L22022 from 9 am.

Born: 5th July, 1969 Rested: 16th March, 2022

It is with saddened hearts and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Victoria Ann Mukami, who went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, 16th March, 2022 at Metropolitan Hospital following a short illness.

She was the doting daughter of Eunice Nyakanini Murdoch and the late Erastus Mbaka Mwenja.

She was the step-daughter to the beloved the late Dr. George Murdoch.

Wife to Mr. John Njogu, Mother to Wanjiru Chege, Nyakanini Chege, George Murdoch and hallom Muriuki.

Sister to the late Willison Ndwiga, the late Pollyne Wanja, Jane Nyokabi Murdoch, Winfred Ciakuthie, Catherine Muthoni, Herient Gatune, the late Nereah Njeri, Kenneth Gitonga, Rosejoy Karimi, Alphan Murithi, Benson Mugendi, Moris Muriuki, Antony Mwithi, Michael Kimathi, Lenet Kawira, the late Millicent Gaceri and step-sister to Alex Murdoch.

Grandmother to Zoey Waringa, Zion Waweru and Jabari Mcknight. She was a doting Auntie, Niece, Cousin, Mother-in-law, Sister-in-law and Friend to many.

The burial will take place at Lang’ata Cemetery on Wednesday, 30th March, 2022.

Burial will be held on the same day at the family home in Kinyona Location, Murang’a County.
