Son of the late Lazaro Kiprotich Chebii and Jane Jepkoech Rotich. Beloved husband to Magdaline Biwott. Father to Kyla Jerotich Kiplimo and Harvey Kiprop Kiplimo.

Brother to Monicah-Co-op Bank Nandi Hills, Philemon-County Government of Trans Nzoia, H.E Wisley Rotich —Governor Elgeyo Marakwet County, Rophense KNTC, Nairobi, Titus, Faith, Abel, Nimrod, Silvia and Brian.

The cortege leaves Eldoret Hospital Mortuary on Friday, 30th September 2022 at 8.00am for funeral and burial services on Saturday, 1st October 2022 at his Home in Chegilet Village, Keiyo North Constituency – Elgeyo Marakwet County.

Husband of Sarah Wanjira Gathagu. Father to the late Francis Meja Munyigi Gathagu, Jane Wanjiru, the late Kamau Mwangi Gathagu, Mugo Gathagu (Panorama Nvs), Wanja Gathagu, the late Njenga Gathagu, Maina Gathagu (Proffesor), Nyambura Gathagu and Wangui Gathagu.

Brother to the late Ruth Njeri Muiruri (Ruinu), Ngeru Munyigi and the late Karuga Munyigi.

Family and Friends are meeting at Panorama Hotel – Naivasha, from  5.30pm to 7.00pm daily and also at  his home in Dallas, Kibichoi, from 5.00pm to 6.00pm.

The cortege leaves Jamani Funeral Home Naivasha, on 04/10/2022 at 6.00am for a church service from I 0.00am at PCEA – Kibichol; Githunguri. He will be laid to rest at his farm in Dallas Kibichoi.

Loving husband to Cecilia Wambui. Father to Margaret Wanjiku, Hannah Njeri, Mary Wanpru, Kelly Waitherero, Josephine Mugure, Beth Nyambura, Peter Njuguna, Moses Maim and Grace Waithera.

Father-in-law to Samson Mwangi, Dominic Njihia, Daniel Kang’ara, Mary Wairimu and Betty Wahito.

Brother to Mary Waithira, Beatrice Wairimu and the late Kungu, Muhia, Nganga, Njeri and Mugure. A grandfather and great-grandfather to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his home in Wanyaga Village.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Kabati on Tuesday 4th October, 2022 at 8:00am. Funeral service and burial will be at his home in Wanyaga village, Ndakaini, Gatanga.

Dad, we miss your charm, your laughter and your compassion. It’s been one year since we lost you. We wanted to make sure you knew that you’re in our thoughts and in our hearts during this time. Daughter to the late David Kinuga and the late Hannah Wanjiru of Riabai Kiambu. Wife to the late David Mwangi. Co-wife to the late Teresia Gathoni. Sister to Nyambura, Wanjiku and the late Njiraini, Wambui, Wairimu, Wairara and Njino.

Loving mother to Felista Njeri, Paul Mburu, Peter Gatimu and the late Kinuga, Njuguna and Njenga. Grandmother to Anthony Machu and Nancy Frandsen (USA), John Kimani, David Njenga (Qatar), Catherine Njoki (Qatar), David Mwangi (London) and Mwangi Njuguna and others. Son to Bishop Joshua Owiti Ouma and Lay Canon Mama Phoebe Merab Owiti of ACK Maseno East Diocese. Brother to Lucy Owiti Ingolo and Jeremy Edward Owiti. Brother-in-law to Billy William Ingoto.

Grandson to the late Salina Nyaodanga of Kano Kobura Migingo, The late Manasse Okayo and Mama Agneta Awino Okayo of Kisumo Karateng.

Cousin to Caleb Omondi Ambuso, Joash Pius Otieno, Celine Atieno Ambuso and William Apida, among many others.

Step-mothers are Grace Ambuso, Okayo Owiti (Babu) Elizabeth Manasse and Persila Okayo. Step-fathers are Richard Otieno Nyagol, John Omondi and Charles Ondiek Onyuka.

The cortege will leave Nightingale Hospital Mortuary – Millimani, Kisumu on Friday 30/09/2022 at 1.00pm for the funeral service at ACK St. Peters Cathedral – Ahero at 2.00pm.Thereafter, the cortege will leave for his father’s home in Migingo Village. He will be laid to rest on Saturday the 01/10/2022, starting from 10.00am.
