it is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Beatrice Syokau Maingi, which occurred on Friday 27th January, 2023 at Machakos Level 5 Hospital, after a long illness.

Daughter of the late William Muthengi and the late Loise Mbula.

A great loving and beloved wife of Joseph Maingi Muindi. Loving mother of Maureen Mwende, Salome Mumo, William Maingi and Solomon Maingi. Mother-in-law of Catherine Muinde and Dominic Mumo. Grandmother of Angela, Meshack, Nathan, Benja, Sean, Henry, Blessing and Alvin.

Sister of Carol, Wayua, Rhoda, Mbula, Nduku, the late Kalekye, the late Mutiso, the late Daudi, among others. Sister-in-law of Lucia, Sabina, Muema, Pascal, Dinah, Ndolo, Kanyiva and Pauline. A Cousin, Aunt and Friend to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home at Mithanga Village and T.Tot Hotel – Machakos, starting 5.00pm.

There will be a fundraiser on Wednesday 1st February, 2023 at T.Tot Hotel, starting 5.00pm to offset the funeral expenses.

The cortege leaves Montezuma Monalisa Funeral Home (Machakos), on Friday 3rd February, 2023 at 8.00am, for a funeral service and thereafter burial at her home ground in Mithanga Village, Kombu sub-location, lveti Location, Upper Kaewa, Kathiani Sub-county, Machakos County, starting at 11.00am.

Daughter of the late Elijah Mmbasu and the late Rasoa Masitsa. Daughter-in-law to the late Wilson Mafuga and the late Naomi Nandutu.

Loving wife to Mr. Jotham Wanyonyi. Doting mother to Sarah Masitsa, Dr. Timothy Kitui (USA), Anthony Keya (UAE), Bonface Chisika, Alex Masake, Joan Ndeso and Elijah Mmbasu.

Sister to the late Selina, Jedida, Margaret, Sarah, Martha Wanjala, Johnstone, Enock, Chisika, Jacob Shirandula, Mathews Avomba.

The cortege leaves Cherengani Hospital Mortuary on Thursday 2nd February, 2023 for a memorial service at ACK Muungano Parish. Another Memorial service will be held at the IFOM Church in Springfield MA, USA on Friday.

She will be laid to rest on Saturday 4th February, 2023 at the family homestead in Muungano, Kiminini, Trans-Nzoia County.

CPA Jamleck Njuguna Gachuhi

Beloved husband to Teresiah Muthoni.

Son to the late Ephantus Gachuhi and Esther Nyambura of Kamaguta Village, Mugoiri, Murang’a. Son-in-law to the late Peter Waweru Njunu and the late Joyce Wanjiku of Kigoro, Gatanga in Murang’a.

Father to Joyce & Raphael Weru, Martin & Yvonne Gachuhi, Esther Nyambura, Peter & Elizabeth Waweru and Joan Wahu, all of Nairobi. Doting grandfather to 13 grandchildren.

Brother to Lucy Waiyego (Kinangop), the late Josephat Muguro, Wilson Wainaina (Limuru), John Mwangi (Vol), Njuguna Gachuhi Faith Wanjiku (Maragwa Ridge), Nancy Njoki (US), Mercy Wambui Meyer (Germany) and Elizabeth Njoki (Narok). He was a loving cousin and uncle to many.
