Father to the late Charles Evans Bonga Opiyo, the late Dede Opiyo, Agnes Ochieng’, Ruth Raburu, the late Doris Anyango Opiyo, the late Walter Odede, the late Tom Oweke, the late Jenipher Opiyo, the late Eric Ochieng’ Opiyo, Lucy Matengo, Fiona Opiyo, Catherine Stella Opiyo, Agnes Wambui Opiyo.
Father-in-law to Geofrey Ochieng’ (Businessman), Peter Raburu (former Provincial Commissioner), Meshack Matengo, Monica Opiyo, Mildred Opiyo, Mary Obonyo Ochieng and the late Beatrice Auma Ochieng.
Grandfather to the late Edward Ochieng, Peres Rana, Penina Ochieng, Willis Otieno, Sheila Ochieng, Gilbert Ochieng, Brian Bonga Opiyo, Steve Bonga Opiyo,Nyatura, Andrew Geoffrey Onguka, the late Lee Odhiambo, Brian Omondi , Phiona Akinyi, Elizabeth Opiyo, Daisy Viona Opiyo, the late Evans Bonga, Timothy Opiyo, Roy Ochieng, joy Raburu, Kevin Raburu, Willis Raburu, Dinah Matengo, Wayne Matengo and Lilian Maya Opiyo.
Burial arrangements are ongoing at his home in Nyahera, Kisumu West Sub-county.
There will be a fundraising at Ofafa Memorial Hall on Tuesday 28th February, 2023 at 2:00pm.
The cortege leaves Aga Khan Hospital – Kisumu on Thursday 2nd March, 2023 at 9:00am for public viewing at Ofafa Memorial Hall from 10:00am.
Burial shall take place at his home in Nyahera, Dago Thim, Karombo Village on Saturday 4th March, 2023.
