Family and Friends are meeting at All Saint’s Cathedral Nairobi and at her Karen residence for prayers and Funeral arrangements.

There shall be a requiem mass on Thursday, 6th July 2023 at Regina Caeli Catholic Church, Karen at 2:00pm.

The cortege shall leave Lee Funeral Home on 7th July 2023 at 6:30am for the funeral service at St. Joseph Giakanja Catholic Church and thereafter her interment at the family’s Giakanja home, Nyeri County.

Michael Thuo Mwangi

It is with profound sadness that we regret to announce the passing on of Michael Thuo Mwangi on 27th June, 2023. Until his demise, Michael was a member of staff at Chuka University in the Directorate of Quality Assurance.

A loving husband to Margaret Nyaruiru Mugure (Chuka University).

Robert was the Son of the Late Dr James Njoroge Itotia and Mrs Loise Nduta

Beloved Husband to Kathy Thomas Kihara.

Brother to Joseph Itotia, Peter and Bernice Kimacia.

He was Uncle to Ruth and David Kimacia and a Grandson, Nephew, Cousin and dear Friend to many.

There will be a Memorial Service on Saturday, July 1, 2023 in Raleigh, North Carolina. The Funeral Service will be held on Sunday, July 2, 2023 in Stuart, Virginia.

Allen was the son of the late Peter Mburu Kigira and the late Phoebe Nyawira Kigira.

Loving husband to Salome Nungari Kigira, and caring father to Christine Kigira, Sonia Kigira, Phoebe Kigira and Jemima Kigira.

Son-in-law of the late Joseph Kingara Kamuhu and the late Joyce Wanjiku Kingara.

Brother to Annie Njoki Kigira-Kinuthia and John Kinuthia Mungai, Dr. Wambugu Kigira and Dr. Mary Madumadu-Kigira and the late Alice Wangeci Kigira.

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mary Nyambura Maina (Mama Njeri) of Kaguthi Village, Kandara Sub-county, Murang’a County.

Sister to the late Njuguna Maina, the late Stanley Wainainaz Wairimu Muhunjia, Wangari Githinji, the late Muturi, Waithira Kanyonyi, the late Richard Kamau, Lucy Wanjiku and Daniel Karanja. Mother to Stella Njeri, the late Patrick Maina, Anthony Njuguna and Faith Wambui Njau

She lived a fruitful life and was blessed with seven grandchildren; Joel, Joy, Joan, Nesta Jr.,Terri,Tiana and Alden.

Beloved wife to Abednego Osir formerly a Lecturer at Kenya Polytechnic, Egerton and Moi Universities.

Loving mother to Dennis Osir (USA), Victoria Osir, the late Beatrice Awino, Lynet Osir and Lilian Osir.

Beloved grandmother to Wilson Gumba Jr., Sanchez Ochieng and Ethan Osir.
