1938 – 16/5/2017   It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on to glory of Mrs. Margaret Wangechi Kiragu (Cucu wa Nelo) on Tuesday 16th May, 2017 of Kirinyaga West Sub-county, Mukure Ward, Kaharo Village. Wife of the late Nelson Kiragu Karunji, former businessman Kagumo Town. Mother of the late Faith Wanjiku Ngaire, the late Tabitha Muthoni Kiragu, Moffat Karunji, Eliud Munene, Joyce Wachira (Chairlady ACK St. Paul Getuya), Esther Kiragu (Cateress – Muruguru Girls), the late Solomon Murani, Lucy Kinyua (Businesslady, Kagumo) and Nancy Wambui (Cateress -Mutira Girls). Grandmother of Inspector Mercy Mugo (Vigilance House, Nairobi), Kiragu Eric (Presidential Escort), Nicholas (Liberty Mwea), Jane (Kariuki Fashions – Kagumo), Faith (BATUK – Nanyuki),Winter (Australia), John (KDF), Brian (KDF), Linet (KRA), Nelo (Kirinyaga County Government), Evalyn (Egerton Njoro), Selina (East Africa  School of Aviation) and many others. Great grandmother  of 29. Prayers and funeral arrangements are on-going daily at her home Kaharo Village starting at 4.00 pm.The cortege leaves ACK Mt. Kenya Funeral Home on Wednesday 24th May, 2017 at 10.00 am for a burial Service at her home, Kaharo Village.
