Eliud Nduma Ogweno

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of Eliud Nduma Ogweno of Kaswanga Rusinga Island, Homa Bay County which occurred in Kisumu on the 20th of May 2017.

Son of the late Ogweno Malowa and late Sarah Ajwang’ Wanyande. Husband of the late Phoebe Akeyo Nduma of Kasipul Kanyango, Oyugis.

Father of Ruth Nduma, Elly Odhiambo, late Michael Omondi Nduma, late Janet Adhiambo, late Apollo Oloo, Tom Nduma, and late Eveline Atieno (Nite).

Brother of the late Dorcas Agot, the late Damaris Adoyo, the late Festo Orinda, and Richard Jagero. Brother-in-law of the late Enoch Oigo, Eunice Oyoko, the late Meshach Oigo, Josiah Oigo, Rhoda Adundo and late Sampson Oigo. Cousin of Solomon Oburu, the late Ambassador Michael Okeyo, late Meshach Otieno among others. Father-in-law of Anastasia Odhiambo, Linet Laboso, Monica Wanjiku and Christine Atieno. Grandfather of Christine, Daisy, Joseph, Velma, Alvin, Job, Phoebe, Ashley, Sammy, Lavender, Eliud and Jessy.

Family and friends are meeting daily at his Kisumu residence for funeral arrangements. There will be a harambee at Professional Centre on Tuesday 30th May 2017 from 5.30pm to help offset the hospital and funeral expenses.

The cortege leaves Nightingale Hospital Mortuary, Milimani, Kisumu at 9.00 am on Thursday 1^st June, 2017 for his residence in Kisumu. Thereafter the cortege leaves for his home in Kaswanga Rusinga Island where he will be laid to rest on Friday 2nd June 2017.
