It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mama Esther Wanjiku Nguyo on 1/7/2017 at Outspan Hospital.

Beloved wife of the late Peter Nguyo Kamau of Gaturuturu Village, Mahiga, Nyeri County. Daughter of the late Gichuru Kaguora and the lateWatetu Gichuru. Sister of late Peter Kaguora Gichuru, the late Wambui Waiganjo and the late Wilson Wachira Gichuru. Step-sister of Mwalimu Timothy Kanyi Gichuru among others. Loving mother of Rev. Daniel Kamau Nguyo, late Peris Wambui Kamau and Tabitha Thuguri Kamau and Mwalimu E. K. Nguyo and Mary Njeri Karitu. Grandmother of Patrick Nguyo Kamau and Kellen Karimi Nguyo, ames Gachomo Kiruki and EstherWanjiku, Sammy Rono and Rachael Wairimu Rono, Martin Muita, Lilian Wanjiku Karitu, Brenda Wangari Karitu and Kelvin Nguyo Karitu. Great grandmother Eddie, Abigail, jamm ie,Michelle and Seth. Aunt of many.

Relatives and friends are meeting at Mwalimu E.K. Nguyo’s home at Garden Estate-Nyeri, P.C.E.A St.Andrew’s Church, Nairobi and their rural home in Kihuri-Gaturuturu Village every day at 5.00pm for prayers.The cortege leaves Nyeri Funeral Home (Outspan Hospital) at 9.30am on 7th July, 2017 for a funeral service at A1PCA Gaturuturu Church from 10.30am and later the burial will take place at her Kihuri home.
