It is with profound sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion  to glory of Claire Diana Chacha of Kenya Literature Bureau after a brave battle with cancer.

Beloved daughter of Commissioner Christopher John Chacha Ogwe, formerly of TSC and former Director Sony Sugar Company Ltd. and Mama Mary Akinyi Chacha former teacher Moi Educational Centre Nairobi.

Beloved sister of Bryan, Maureen and Joshua Mark and Jackie, Greg, Adasa. Auntie of Ava, Chris and CJ. Cousin of the Wagundas, Oyolas, Ochiengs, Okonjos, Opondis, Otienos, Ogwes, Jacks, Odhiambos, Chiefs. Niece of Jacob, Elizabeth,Wilfred, Samson Kwatch, James, Zacharia, Simeon, Isaac, Jack, Nerea, Sylvia among others.

There will be a fundraiser to offset medical expenses on 4th July 2017 at All Saints Cathedral from 5pm. A requiem mass will be held on 5th July 2017 at Holy Family Minor Basilica at 1 pm. She will be interred on 7th July 2017 at her parent’s home in Wasio Village, Suna East Contituency, Migori County.
