Dorcas Wangari Mathenge

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Dorcas Wangari Mathenge which occurred on 5th July 2017 after a long illness.

Daughter of the late Simon Muchiri Thuita and the late Eunice Wambui Muchiri of Thunguri, Othaya. Wife of the late Cyrus Mathenge Karomo. Mother of Esther Kirima and Rev. Patrick kirima (Nyahururu); James Maina and Jane Wanjiru; Rahab Gichohi and Maj. (Rtd) Patrick Gichohi (Blue Armour Security Services); Paul Muchiri and Wanjiru Muchiri; janetWang’ombe (Kenya National Audit Office) and Bob Peter Wang’ombe (Five Forces Consulting); Joyce Wangechi (National Police Service); Eva Mwangi and Duncan Mwangi (NIS). Sister of the late James Thuita, Consolata Kagure Ngondu and Macharia Muchiri. Grandmother and great grandmother of many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily from 2:00pm at her home in Karago-ine, Ndaragwa Sub-County for prayers and funeral arrangements. The cortege leaves Nyahururu Level 4 Hospital mortuary on Friday 14th July 2017 at 8:00am for funeral service and burial at her husband’s farm, Karago-ine, Ndaragwa Sub-County on the same day.
