Silas Mwereru M’Mugambi

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Silas Mwereru M’Mugambi of Omone Village, Nkubu, Meru County, which occurred on Friday 5th August, 2022.

Son to the late M’Mugambi Manga and the late Julia Muthoni of Omone village, Nkubu. Son-in-law to the late Bernard Kirera and Aribirata Kirera.

Loving husband of Florence Gaceri Mwereru. Father to Robert Mutuma (ODPP), Josyline Kinya (NPSC), Lydia Gatwiri (Leekids), Dinah Kendi (IEK), and Boniface Mawira (M. M. Gitonga Advocates LLP). Father in-law to Loise Kibiti, Anthony Maina, and Timothy Chege. Grandfather to Aryanna, Eddysam, Miles, Reign, Nate and Alyssa.

Brother to the late Murithi Manga, James Gitari, and Fredrick M’Mugambi. Uncle to many.

Friends and family are meeting daily at his home in Omone village for prayers and funeral arrangements.

The cortege leaves Meru Funeral Home – Meru on Friday 12th August, 2022 at 8:00am for funeral service at Kiamutuja Methodist Church at 10:00am. Thereafter, he will be laid to rest at his farm.
