Elder Isaac Mihiga Chanzu

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Elder Isaac Mihiga Chanzu of Winners Chapel International Mbale; formerly a manager Barclays Bank, Kenya (now ABSA Bank), who passed away after a short illness on 25th November, 2022 at the Oasis Multi Specialists Hospital – Kakamega.

A loving husband to Jane Afandi Chanzu. Devoted father to Bright Kadenge, the late Eric Chanzu, Faith Chanzu & Collins Chanzu. Father-in-law to Prof. Leonidah Kerubo, Dominic Mwamudo and Rose Mihudhi. Grandfather to Maxwell Chanzu, Emmanuel Mihiga, Joy Kadenge & Akins Dominic.

Brother to the late Eunice Muhambe, the late Timothy Kagota, the late Shem Anzaye, the late Stanley Mido, John Agadamba, Enos Masitsa, the late Hudson Vudembeke. The late Salome Kageriza, John Galia Chanzu, the late Fred Kigalu, Violet Tsindoli.

Brother-in-law to Dorcas Kagota, Tokesi Makungu, Esther Agadamba, Gurellar Galia, Margaret Masitsa & Beatrice Kigali.

Uncle to Aggrey Kadenge, Ronald Isiaho, Jackson Muhalia, Pastor Benard Lubia, Often Majani, Hannah Kadenge, Sammy Chanzu,Violet Mido and others.

Funeral arrangements are ongoing.

The cortege will leave Jumuiya Hospital – Kaimosi on 16th December, 2022. A funeral service will be held on 17th December 2022 at Mambai Primary School. Thereafter he will be laid to rest at his home in Mamba village, Wodanga, Vihiga County.
