With thanksgiving and humble acceptance of God’s will, we announce the sudden passing to glory of Colleta Chemonges of KCB, Kencom House at Nairobi Hospital on 14th October 2017.
Beloved wife of Alex Chesosi and Loving mother of Joan Chepkemei (Moi Educational Centre). Daughter of the late Solomon and Imelda Chemonges. Daughter-in-law of the late William and loan Chesosi. Sister of Michael & Jennifer Jackline, Christabel, Faith & Tonje, Oliver & Rose, Horace & Linet, Griffins & Celestine, Newton, Lee,Audrey, Ellah, Diana,Anthony among others. Sister-in-law of Ven Chesosi & Rev. Lydia, Duncan & Jackline and Caroline. Auntie of Collins, Simba, lan ,William Alex, Hazel, Emmy, Bridgette, Chebet, Cheptoo among others.
There will be a memorial service on Thursday 19th 2017 from 4pm at All Saints Cathedral. The cortege leaves Lee Funeral home on Friday 20th October, 2017 for burial on Saturday 21st October in Mt. Elgon.
She was taken without any warning, her going left hearts filled with pain; but though she is gone from amongst us, in our hearts she will always remain.
Her child, Joan Chepkemei Chesosi, is my best friend at school. She is a very nice girl. At times, she may get quite emotional if we talk about our mothers. But all I know is that her mother is at a better place. I just wish she could have a mother with her, but it is God’s will. I still feel sad for her family.
