It is with deep sorrow that we announce the demise of Mzee Abraham Waling() of Abasamo clan Sawawa Village Kabras. Kakamega County, Former Councilor of Kabras West ward, and Vice Chairman Kakamega County Council which occurred on 13 August 2018 after a long illness bravely borne.

Son of the late Luhambi Muhonja and the late Marisela Mukungu. Husband of Mama Rosa, Late Mama Priscah, Mama Ann and Mama Elizabeth. Father of Bertha (USA), Isaac (Sawawa), the late Edward, Doctor Lucy (Kibabii university), Professor Mary Walingo (Maasai Mara university). Alice Walingo (USA) Achim (Kenya Forest Service), Wamalwa (DCC), Judy (Ndalu school), Chengole (Maseno university), Chiruyi (Dar-es-salaam), Doctor Janet (Murang’a University), Doctor Tom (South Africa), Solomon (Wrigleys), Salome (MMUST), Samson (Mombasa), Selah (Kitale). Bony (Mandera), Akune (Sawawa), Avuna (Sawawa), Buliva (Keroche), Rex (Sawawa), Matekula (Sawawa).

Father-in-law of Wachiye, Dr. Ben, Sammy, Jerry, Esther, Everlyne, John, Jemimah, Mill), Mercy among others. Grandfather of Edwin, Faith, Muhonja Kevin Arnold Lena, Lwambi Studdy Nathaniel, Yolanda, Rosa, Benny among others. Uncle of Indangasi (KMTC), Asman, Mutanyi, the Fuchingos, Muhonja ‘s Ramadhan, and Mukoya among others. Great grandfather of twenty two children.

The cortege leaves Kipkaren Funeral Home on Thursday 16th August 2018 to Sawawa village, West Kabras Location Malaya sub county Kakamega County for burial on Saturday 18/8/2018.
