Abraham Igobwa Ilondanga

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the death of Mzee Abraham Igobwa Ilondanga of Ivihiga village, Ileho division, Shinyalu Subcounty of Kakamega County.

Husband of Pastor/Retired Teacher Terry Kayalo Igobwa. Father of Reuben, David, Sarah, Miriam Munyiri, Robai Gakunga, Jacob, and Rispah Koech. Brother of Tabitha, Ruth, Peter, Moses, George, Erica, Hudson, Sivenzia, Fabian and Mabel; the late Reuben, Inganii, and Mary. Father in law of Pamela Ilondanga, Beatrice Sore, Fred Were, Brian Gakunga, Beatrice Jumba, and Philemon Koech.

Vasanji of The late Mr. John Mwanza and Mrs. Nerea Mwanza, Mr. and Mrs. Bonface and Joyce Wabuke, Mr. Humphrey Were and Prof. Miriam Were, The late Mr. Aloysius Ndung’u Gakunga and Mrs. Mary Gakunga, Mrs. Wambui Waweru and The late Mr. Daniel Too and Mrs. Alice Too. Brother in law of Hon. Elsie Muhanda, Mr. Abisayi Lumwaji among others. Cousin of Mr. Naphtali Mushila, Mr.Wilson Ashimosi among others. He had eighteen grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

There will be a prayer service followed by a funds drive on Thursday 15th August, at United Kenya Club, opposite St Paul’s Chapel, starting at 5.30 Pm.

The cortege leaves Samaritan Funeral Home, Kapsabet on Sunday 18th August 2019 to his home Ivihiga Ileho for burial on the 20th August 2019 starting at 9.00am.
