Abraham Kiptoo Kongin

 1st January 1940 to 10th January 2020

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of our beloved Abraham Kiptoo Kongin on 10th January 2020 after a short illness bravely borne.

Son of the Late Kongin Katam and the late Rebecca Kimoi Kongin. Husband of Deborah Chepkemboi Kongin. Brother of the late Tapkigen, the late Tamining, Alice Kigen, James Kongin, Irene Kongin and John Kongin. Father of Allan Kongin,Harriet Kongin, the late Caroline Kongin, Edmund Kongin, Edgar Kongin, Isaac Kongin and the late Eng. Noel Kongin. Father In-Law of Purity Chemutai, the late irine Jelimo, Carolyne Jemutai and Carolyne Ndumba, Uncle and Grandfather of many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at 4pm at the family home in Chepyogot-Tambach, Elgeyo Marakwet County.

The cortege leaves the Iten County Mortuary on Friday 17th Jan 2020 at 3 PM for an overnight stay at home. Funeral and burial service will be held on Saturday 18th January 2020 at his home Chepyogot near Tambach at 10 AM.
