With a mixture of sadness, gratitude and celebration we announce the passing into glory of our Mother Mrs. Abyshag Njoki Mahiaini, she was the Chairlady of St. Anna Center. She went to be with her Saviour and Lord on Thursday, 12th May, 2022.
Wife of Rtd. ACK Bishop John Mahiaini (Mount Kenya Central Diocese) -Gathukiini, Muranga County. She was the daughter of the late Josiah and Zipporah Wanyeki of Kangwaci Village, Murang’a. Mother to Zipporah, Mutua, Wanyeki, Maina, Late Jimi, Kiiru and Paul Mahiaini.
Mother-in-law to Stephanie, Mary, Lucy, the late Mercy Kiiru and Catherine. Grandmother to Njoki, Muraya and Mbaire (their father: Karue); Mahiaini, Njoki, Kanaiya and Gathoni Mutua; Mahia-John and Njoki Mahiaini; Mahia-John, Njoki and Wanjira Maina,Tessa, Thelma, Maria and Julia Mahiaini (their mother: Willi). Njoki, Ciru and Mahia Kiiru; Njoki, Mahia and Kariuki Waigi. Grandmother-in-law to 7, and great-grandmother to 8 great-grand-children.
Sister to the late Eudia, Late Mary, the late James, Loise, Paul, Late Eglah and Late Karanja. Sister-in-law to Julia,Truphotha and Rose.
Prayer gatherings are taking place on Monday to Wednesday at All Saints Cathedral from 5:30p.m daily.
There will be a memorial service at All Saints Cathedral on Thursday, 19th May, 2022 starting at 10.00 a.m.
The Funeral service will be held at St. James and All Marty’s Cathedral Murang’a Town on Monday, 23rd May, 2022 at 10.00 a.m followed by the internment at her home in Mutuya Village, Gathukiini.
