Aggrey Adagi Akoyo (DCP)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Aggrey Adagi Akoyo (DCP), which occurred on 20th June, 2023. He was the Officer in-charge Bungoma Main Prison.

Son of the late Jackson Oberi and Phemina Vuhya. Son-in-law to Rose Kavulani.

Loving husband to Margaret Kamonya. Cherished father to Meshack Akoyo, Esther Murilla, Rose Imbuhila and Abraham Baraka. Guardian to Mercy, Dennis, Sheila and Alicia. Father-in-law to Cindy, Vitallis and Jeff. Grandfather to Deon Adagi, Havilla Tiara, Raynah Cheruto and Tarrel Nuru.

Brother to Onyino, James, Justus, Wycliffe, Elizabeth, the late Nancy, Miriam, Moreen, Linet,Adika and Bese.

Brother-in-law to Pamela, Mudavadi, Ligayo, Emmanuel, Mwavali, Mukinzi, Cherotich, Wachira, Madegwa, Hilda, Mercy and Lorna.

Friends and relatives are meeting in Bungoma Prison and at his residence in Mbale Town,Vihiga County.

The cortege will leave Lifecare Hospital – Bungoma on Thursday 6th July, 2023 for his residence in Mbale, Vihiga County.

The burial service will take place in Mbale Town,Vihiga County on Saturday 8th July, 2023 from 9.00am.
