Appreciation – 1st Anniversary

On this 1St Anniversary, the family of the late Agnes Christine Nyaboga Omari (Kerubo’) wish to express our sincere gratitude for the kindness and sympathy shown to us following our loss. Our heartfelt appreciation goes to the many friends, neighbours, colleagues and well- wishers who prayed for us, counselled us, called to encourage us, visited us, attended the funeral, contributed, generously and supported us in one way or the other at our time of need.

A special word of thanks to the pastors and fellowship of the Seventh Day Adventist Churches of Lavington, Kiamunyi East, DORKS, Egerton & Kerma for the spiritual nourishment; the funeral planning committee in ensuring we gave mum a decent send-off, residents of Lavington West Estate, Baraka, Kawangware and Kerma locality for the hugs and visits; staff at Nakuru Nursing Home, Nakuru War Memorial Hospital and Alexandria Cancer Centre for the efficient medical care; colleagues at Egerton University, Advent Clinic, Scanlab Centre Nakuru, Mama Lucy Kibaki Hospital, Muthoga & Omari Advocates and the Nakuru medical fraternity for your solidarity; former classmates at various institutions for keeping touch with us; and Mum’s carers for your patience and selflessness.The list is endless!

While we may not be able to mention all of you on this platform, rest assured that all the acts of love and compassion extended to us did not go unnoticed and may the Gracious Lord richly reward each and everyone of you as He meets you at your specific points of need.

Through your unwavering support, our burden was made much lighter and whereas we still miss our mum dearly, we are encouraged by the Word of God in Thessalonians 4:16, —”For the Lord himself will come down from heaven, with a loud command, with the voice of the archangel and with the trumpet call of God, and the dead in Christ will rise first”
