Agnes Eunice Okwisa Olembo

With broken hearts but in submission to Gods will, we announce the demise of Agnes Eunice Okwisa Olembo, which occurred on Tuesday May 30th, 2023.

Daughter of the late Rev Aggrey Anduuru and the late Rev Mary Otakwa Anduuru. Daughter-in-law to the late Charles Okwemba Olembo and Eunice Olembo.

Wife to the late Cleophas Olando Olembo, Co-wife to Geraldine Olembo. Adored Mother of Ruth and Stephen Owino, Alex and Susan Olembo, Elijah and Tafrosa Olembo, Eunice Olembo Wanjala and Dorcas Olembo.

Grandmother to Paul Owino, Paula Owino, Patricia Okwisa Owino, Natalie Okwisa Olembo, Christopher Olando Olembo and Esther Olembo. Great Grandmother to Khalil
Elijah Olembo.

Beloved Sister to the late Abigail Busili, Moffat Anduuru, the late Samuel Anduuru, Michal Matende, the late Dr Peter Anduuru, the late Miriam Opunga, Nicholas Anduuru, the late Epher Anduuru, Margaret Ameka, Paul Mabwa, Majorie Ingati and George Anduuru.

Sister-in-law to the late Saul Paul and Margaret Ayuma Mulama, the late Eliakim and Juliana Olembo, Prof and Dr Jotham Ombisi, the late Rinah and Silvanus Shiundu, the late Frank, Esther and Florence Oteyo, the late Ruth Okwisa Olembo and Dickson Olala and Harrison Omuka and Lydia Olembo, Dr Sarah Olembo, Christina Wakhu and Ruth Filimona Olembo, James Busili, Rose Anduuru, the late Melsa Anduuru, Mabel Anduuru, the late Judith Anduuru, the late Silas Matende, the late Fatuma Anduuru, the late Joseph Opunga, the late Loice Anduuru, Pauline Anduuru, the late Levi Ameka, Wairimu Anduuru, Peter lngati and Lydia Anduuru.

She was an adoptive mother to Abigail Vihenda and a much treasured Aunty and Cousin to many.

Family and friends are meeting at Mrs Olembo’s residence in Mumbita Village, Emuhaya, Vihiga County from 5:30pm everyday.

A memorial service will be held on Monday, 12th June 2023 at Wanakhale Church of God at 10:00 am.

The main funeral service will be held on Tuesday, 13th June 2023 at Mumbit church of God, Vihiga County at 10:00am followed by her interment at her home.
