It is with deep sorrow and humble acceptance to God’s will that we announce the passing on of Mama Agnes Jones Asaji Obande.

Wife of the late Retired Warrant Officer 1 John Joram Obande.

Daughter of the late Josephat Vigambo and the late Jerida Kadesa. Sister to the late Epines, the late Rhoidah, Kitisha, Adolwa, Kadesa Chiwai, Simon and the late Kanyaha.

Daughter-in-law of the late Washington and the Louise Ogore. Sister-in-law to the late Elanogwa, the late Kinyangi, the late Kedechi, Mary Bosire, Peter Busaka, the late Zacharia and Elizabeth Morara.

Mother to Stanley Dimlin Asava, Rhoda Egehitsa (Kabete National Polytechnic), Pst Fredrick Jadi, Pst Florence Irungu, (FIC), Helen Mudora Obande (Uraia Trust) and Snr. Sgt. Moses Ogore (DoD. Mother-in-Law to Helen Evaline, Pst Irungu, Waweru and Pauline.

Grandmother to Brownson, Mudora, Joshua, Brian, Neil, Francis, John, Emmanuel, Jesse, Mercy, Natasha and Raymond. Great Grandmother to Baraka and Ejaruha.

Auntie to the Elanogwas’, Kinyangis’, Ambakas’ Bosires’, Aleyos’, Moraras’, Adolwas’, Chiwais’, Sabatias’, Achwanyas’ among many others.

She will be laid to rest on Tuesday, 10th January 2023, at Riabosibori village, Keumbu Market, Nyaribari Chache, Kisii County.
