It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden demise of Mrs Agnes Kanini Ng’ang’a on 19th July, 2022 after a short illness.

She was the daughter of the late Andrew Kuria and the late Irene Wanjiku Kuria. She was married to Peter Wainaina Ng’ang’a. She leaves behind her children Charles Wainaina, Antony Kuria, Dr. Sam Macharia (Ottawa, Canada) and Ida Wanjiku. Beloved mother in law to Janet Wanjiru, Lucy Wanjugu Kuria and Deborah Wairimu Macharia. She was a grandmother to Wairimu, Muthoni (Noni) and Ethan Wainaina, Shawn and Shane Kuria, and Imani and Hazina Macharia.

She was sister to Wanja, Irungu, Macara, the late Mutuku, Njeri and the late Wanjiru. Sister in law to Wanjru, the late Macharia, the late Wangui, Njeri Brandt, the late Waithera and an Auntie to many.

She was a beloved teacher for many years at Kariobangi South Primary School, a long-time Girl Guide leader, and a dedicated member of the ACK St James Church Buruburu.

Meetings are taking place at her Nairobi residence (Pioneer Estate).

There will be a requiem service at ACK St. James Church Buruburu Ph. 2 on Monday, 25th July 2022 at 2pm.

The Funeral service & interment will be held at Langata Cemetery on 26th July 2022 at 11:00a.m.

Let our hearts be calmed by the message in 2 Timothy 4:7-8. I have fought the good fight. I have finished the race. I have kept the faith. Now there is in store for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous Judge, will award to me on that day.
