Agnes Waithira Mwaura (Mama Mary)

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the demise of Agnes Waithira Mwaura (Mama Mary) of Kahawa Sukari who passed away on Sunday, May, 15th 2022.

Wife of the late Francis Mwaura Kariuki. Mother to the late Mary Nyambura, Patrick Kariuki (USA), Judy Ryan (USA), John Kimani (USA) and Peter Mwangi (Canada). Mother-in-Law to Caroline Okemwa Kariuki, Jay Ryan, Carolyn Atieno Kimani and Irene Wanjiku Mwangi.

Daughter of the late Isaac Kimani Nguatha and Julia Kabura of Kirere Sub-Location, Kigumo Muranga County.

Sister of the late Jane Wangechi Kiara, the late Loise Njeri Mwangi, the late Mwirigi, Esther Nyathira Ngige and the late Joseph Njuguna.

Grandmother to Marc, Christian, Blake, Chloe, Maxwell and Trevor.

Prayers and meetings are being held daily at her residence at Kahawa Sukari from 5pm and 3pm on Sunday, May 29th 2022.

A requiem mass will be held at The Holy Family Basilica on Wednesday, June 1st 2022 at 10am.

The cortege will leave Kenyatta University Teaching and Referral Hospital Mortuary at 7.00am on Thursday, June 2nd 2021. This will be followed by the funeral mass and burial to be held at the family home in Gathera, Nginda location, Maragua, Muranga County from 10am.
