Agnes Wamani Mbuthia

It is with profound sadness and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing of Agnes Wamani Mbuthia, formerly of Standard Bank, Nanyuki which occurred on Tuesday 3rd September, 2019, after a long brave battle with cancer.

Daughter of the late Simon Mbuthia Kurutu and the late Priscilla Wanjiru Mbuthia. Loving mother of Kevin Mbuthia Wamani Kiboi. Mother-in-law of Susan Wambui Mbuthia. Sister of Martha Njambi Ndun’gu, the late Col (Rtd) Bethuel M. Kurutu, the late Apollo M. Mukuru, the late Pauline W. Onduko, Cecilia Waruguru Mbuthia, the late Regina W. Chege and Grace W. Muhota. Sister-in-law of the late John Ndun’gu, Helen W. Kurutu, Elaine N. Mukuru, the late Joseph Onduko, the late Sam Chege and David M. Muhota. Cousin and Aunt to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting Daily for prayers at her home in Nanyuki from 5.00pm and for burial arrangements at Ibis Hotel, Nanyuki from 6.30pm.

The cortege will leave the Nanyuki Referral Hospital Mortuary on Tuesday 10th September 2019 at 8.30am for the funeral service to be held at Christ the King Catholic Church, Nanyuki at 10.00am and thereafter Burial at the Nanyuki Cemetery.
