Agnes Wanjiru Ndung’u (Wa-Kiongo)

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of our Sister in Christ Agnes Wanjiru Ndung’u (Wa-Kiongo), which occurred on 25/01/2023.

Daughter of the late Joseph Kiarie Murachia and the late Ruth Wambui Kiarie of Gachika, Gatundu Sub-county, Kiambu County.

Wife to Elder, Shujaa Zephania Ndungu Kiongo (Director Accounting Treasury, Kirinyaga County Government). Mother to Simon Kiongo, the late Joseph Kiarie, Samuel Muigai, Elizabeth Wanjiku and Ruth Wambui.

Sister to Teresia Njeri, the late Florence Wanjiku, Lawrence Ndung’u, Philip Njoroge, the late Lucy Gathoni, Jane Wambui, Diana Wanyaga, Regina Njoki, Paul Njuguna, Zipporah Wanjiru and Joyce Wahu.

Mother-in-law to Jecinta Nyokabi Kiongo, Hellen Gathoni Kiarie and Margaret Njeri Muigai.

Grandmother to Agnes Wanjiru Kiarie, Mercy Wanjiru Kiongo, Agnes Wanjiru Muigai, Zephania Ndungu Muigai, Zephania Ndungu Kiarie, Zephania Ndungu Kiongo, and Simon Kimani Muigai, among others. An aunt to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily for prayers and funeral arrangements at her home in Kaminditi village, Githunguri Sub-county from 4.00pm.

The cortege will leave Mukoe Funeral Home on 01/02/2023 at 9.00am. The funeral service will be held at PCEA – Gitwe Church at 10.00am. Thereafter, the burial will be held at their Kaminditi Farm.

In God’s hands she rest, in our hearts she remains forever. God is good all the times.
