Agnes Wanjiru Thuo

Its with deep sorrow and humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the demise of our beloved Agnes Wanjiru Thuo, which occurred on Thursday 26th January, 2023 at St. Joseph’s Hospital Gilgil, after a long illness bravely borne.

She was the last-born daughter of the late Philip Thuo Kariru and the late Ida RemaThuo. Beloved mother to Linda Rema Kimani and Jude Thuo Kimani. Doting grandmother to Charles Kariru, Jayden Muchai and Ethan Chai.

She was sister to Margaret & Josiah Agnes Wanjiru Thuo Mureithi, Florence & the late Patrick Kauai and Mary & James Neanea. Cousin, auntie and grandmother to many.

Prayers and funeral arrangements are being held at 5:30pm daily at her rural home in Nyataragi, Ndeiya Location, Limuru Sub-county and at her sister Margaret’s residence in Thindigua Estate, Kiambu Town.

The cortege leaves Uphome Funeral Home at Nyambari (Uplands), Lari Sub-county at 9.00am on Tuesday 7th February 2023, for the Funeral Mass at St. Peter’s Catholic Church Ndiuni, Nyataragi at 11:00am. Burial will follow thereafter at her rural home in Nyataragi.
