Daughter of the late Mari Ruhiu and the late Nyagichira Mari. Sister to the late Harrison Ngatia Mari, the late Peter Munene Mari, the late Lydia Wanjugu Mwangi, the late Tabitha Ngima Munyu, the late Robert Ruhiu Mari, the late Gathoni Wanjohi, the late James Murigu Mari, the late Mary Mumbi Riri, and Washington Githui.

Mother to the late Jairo Gichuiri Muritu, the late Peter Gichuiri Muritu, Esther Gathigia Mugwe,Wamuyu Muritu, the late Mari Muritu, the late Esther Gathigia Muritu, the late Mweri Muritu (Be-smart), Wachira Muritu, Margaret Wanjiku Kabugi, the late Ruhiu Muritu, the late Mary Wanjira Muritu, Muriuki Muritu, James Kahugu Muritu, the late Kahugu Muritu and LydiahWanjiku Kiarie.

Meetings are being held at her home daily, at Kwa-Wanjiku Marmanet, from 4:00pm.

The funeral service and burial will be held at the same venue on Thursday, 15th June 2023 from 10:00am.
