Alex Kanyi Kinyenje

It is with profound sadness that we announce the promotion to glory of Alex Kanyi Kinyenje on 1st July 2023 in Maryland, USA.

Alex was the beloved son of the late Chief Inspector Bernard Kinyenje Kimani and the late Anne Kinyenje; son in law to Francis and Maristella Mulinge.

Loving husband of Jane Kanini Kanyi and doting father to Gianna and Maria Kanyi.

Brother to Lucy, the late Charles, Ciku, Esther, Terry, Ciru, Martin, Antonia and Nancy.

Best friend to Answan and Monica Johnson.

Uncle to Bernard, Nikita, Muthoni, Kareem, Ann, Angie and many others.

Grandfather to Elijah Mulama.

Brother-in-law to Arif, Alice, Kariuki, Thomas, Felix, Dominic, Charles, Peter, Augustine, Cosmas, Thaddeus, Agnes, Emmanuel and Regina.

Nephew to Githinji, late Waithera, Mwithukia, Kimonyi, Karuga, Charles, Margaret,Teresia, Maria, Joseph, Kambo, Boniface, John and Mary-Gorretti.

He was a cousin to many in the Kimani and Kanyi families.

Family, relatives and friends will have the last meeting at All Saints Cathedral on Tuesday 25th July 2023 at 5:30pm.

The Requiem Mass will be held at Shrine of Mary Help of Christians – Don Bosco, Upper Hill at 2.00 pm, Thursday 27th July 2023.

The burial will be on Friday 28th July 2023 at Kereita – Lari at 11.00 am.
