It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Alex Karanja Ndung’u, on 31st August 2017, following a road accident that occurred on 16th April 2017 and after a lengthy hospitalization at the Aga Khan University Hospital.

Son of Mr Eliud Ndung’u and Agatha Njeri. Son-in-law of the late George Ndurungi and the late Anne Wambui. Husband of Mary Nungari Karanja of Catholic Relief Services (CRS). Father of Alen Ndung’u of Consolata Shrine Primary School, Mercy Njeri of Consolata Shrine Primary School and Erick Ndurungi of Angaza Kindergaten. Brother of Elizabeth Nyambura, the late Josephine Wanjiku, Lucy Wamaitha and Catherine Wambui. Brother-in-law of Samuel Maina, Samuel Kimani, Scola Nyangabi, Jane Wairimu, Dennis Ndino, James Muniu and Rose Thama, among others. Cousin of many. Uncle of Ian Ng’ang’a, Anne Muthoni, Stella Njeri, Wilson Ndung’u, Nelly Njeri and Mary Angel Muthoni, among others.

Family and friends are meeting daily at United Kenya Club, opposite St. Paul’s Chapel for funeral arrangements.
