It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the promotion to glory of Alice Makonjo Luvaha- Otunga, which occurred on 13th April, 2023 at KUTRRH.

Wife to Charles Otunga Magero and loving mother to Doreen Wesaya,Vallery Rosa, Marion Wakasa and Emmanuel Magero.

Daughter to Mzee Hailam Luvaha Patisi and the late Ann Tsikhulo Luvaha. Daughter-in-law to the late Magero Atswenje and the late Sara Khatenje.

Beloved sister to the late Elizabeth Nafula, Mark Mwombe, Luke Lianda, Joel Lutumbi, the late Frederick Makali, the late Tom Patisi, Roselyn Kharumi, Joyce Nekesa, Violet Nanjakho, Cox Patisi and Dominic Mikisi.

Sister-in-law to the late Rose, Sophia, Jane, Richard, Sylvia, Violet, Fred, the late Suzy, Mary, Esther and Margaret.

Niece to the late Masanganjira, Shitawa, the late Koroti, the late Simiyu, the late Wakhisi, Joyce Muteresa, Kasaya, the late Mudogo, the late Bulimo, Mulunda and Selina Nasimiyu.

Beloved Cousin and Aunt to many.

Family and friends are meeting daily at her residence in Kahawa Sukari, near St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, for the burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves Kenyatta University Referral Hospital Funeral Home on 20thApril, 2023 at 9.00am for memorial service at the St. Joseph Catholic Church – Kahawa Sukari at 10:00am. There will be a brief stop-over at her home in Kahawa Sukari. Thereafter, the cortege will leave for Lurambi home, Kakamega County for burial on Saturday 22nd April, 2023.
