Alice Muringo Kumunga

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will that we announce the passing on of Alice Muringo Kumunga on 22nd May. 2023 after a long illness bravely borne. She hails -from Kiburu Village, Ndia Division, Kirinyaga County.

Wife of the late Justus Kumunga Kaingi. Mother of Gitari, Murimi, John, Wangui, Kibiru, Gatimu, Wangithi, Wangari and Dr.Eunice. Mother-in-law to Gladys, Margaret, Mary, David, Jane, Julia and Amos.

Daughter of the late Weru Njogu and the late Wanja Weru. Sister of the late Kibiru, the late Muthoni, Wambui, Karangu and Ndabu. She was grandmother and great-grandmother to many.

Friends and relatives are meeting daily at her home next to Mitondo coffee factory from 4:00pm for prayers and burial arrangements.

The cortege leaves Mt. Kenya Funeral Home, Kerugoya on Friday, 2nd June, 2023 at 8:00am for a funeral service at A.C.K St John Kiburu Church at 10.00am followed by burial ceremony at her home next to Mitondo coffee factory, Ndia Division, Kirinyaga County.
